The quest for this elusive resource feels like chasing a cosmic rainbow, but fear not fellow travelers, I’ve got your back!
The recently introduced resource called Atlantideum in the game No Man’s Sky, which arrived with the 16th Expedition titled “The Cursed”, has left many players scrambling to locate this valuable resource so they can progress along their journey and complete all the set milestones.
By exploring the cosmos, we’ve identified vast reserves of this valuable resource. In this tutorial, we will demonstrate to players the methods for amassing large quantities of Atlantideum, which in turn will help them acquire all associated rewards and prizes tied to gathering this coveted mineral.
Where To Find Atlantideum In No Man’s Sky
In the game No Man’s Sky, adventurers may stumble upon a planet rich in Atlantideum, which could aid them in their Expeditions. However, should they not find it, they might discover this valuable mineral at these two locations:
- Dissonant Planets: are worlds where the Sentinels became corrupted, and the wildlife has also been greatly affected by the corruption. In these planets climate is unpredictable, and the classic Sentinel enemies are highly aggressive, so if they spot players, they’ll shoot to kill.
- Corrupted Sentinel Camps and Pillars: spread across the galaxy, there are many worlds where certain Sentinel enclaves have become corrupted. So assaulting these camps and their deposits is a good way to get more Atlantideum.
- Killing Corrupted Sentinels has a small chance of yielding a certain amount of Atlantideum, so players should also invest in the battle technology attached to their Multitools and assault some of their outposts.
Dissonant Planets are not so hard to find in No Man’s Sky The Cursed, and many of the places where players will land using Blood Elixir when they cross a Portal can be subjected to Corruption. Look for Pink Crystal deposits in the ground, which can be extracted using the Advanced Extraction Laser. Small-sized crystals will yield between 1 and 3 Atlantideum, while Medium Crystals will drop between 3 to 5 pieces each.
To acquire the Discordant Milestone (Phase 4) and unlock its rewards, including a fresh Elixir of Blood recipe, a Forbidden Exosuit Module, 20 pieces of Navigation Data, and 440 units of Cadmium, players must collectively gather 250 Atlantideum in total.
How To Use Atlantideum In No Man’s Sky
In my excitement, I wanted to share some exciting news for fellow Atlantideum enthusiasts like me! Accumulating at least 250 Atlantideum instantly triggers a milestone from Phase 4 in The Cursed Expedition. But here’s the kicker – it doesn’t stop there! Reaching that 250 mark can also aid you in completing a Phase 5 Milestone, dubbed “Reality Foam”. This challenging task requires players to gather an impressive 2500 Nanites – quite a thrilling challenge for us adventurers!
In the Advanced Refinery, you can combine Atlantideum with Pungeum to produce Running Mould. This Running Mould can then be further refined into Nanites. Consequently, a plentiful supply of Atlantideum ensures a continuous flow of Nanites, which are not only crucial for completing this expedition’s phase, but also for purchasing vital upgrades, blueprints, and additional resources.
