I’ve been totally lost in Crimson Desert – between cooking, taking on quests, exploring everything, and just trying to make a living in the world, it’s non-stop! When I finally do get a chance to rest at camp, I always seem to realize I’ve collected a ton of stuff to trade. It’s funny how quickly those trade goods pile up!
You’ve likely collected some items along the way that you can sell for a good price. But you’ll need your friends to help you with the trading.
Here’s a guide to packing and selling trade goods in Crimson Desert, helping you make money for your camp.
What Are Trade Goods?

In Crimson Desert, Trade Goods are valuable items distinguished by a blue background in your inventory, making them easy to identify among your other possessions.
You’ll receive some trade items by completing quests, but we’ve mostly found them by… acquiring them from other people. Wealthy characters, like the owners of Glenbright Manor, usually have a good supply of trade goods, if you’re willing to obtain them through less-than-honest means.
Okay, so when you’re looking for valuable stuff to trade, keep an eye out for things like beautiful Calligraphic Paintings, Tobacco, Red Ginseng, and cool Ceramics. I usually find most of it hidden in chests, but honestly, don’t just stop there! I’ve learned to check everywhere – tables, cabinets, even just lying around – because you never know where the good stuff is hidden. Seriously, search the whole place!
How to Pack Trade Goods
In Crimson Desert, you can’t immediately start packing trade goods. You’ll need to play through the game and finish the quest involving the investigation of Glenbright Manor first.
After you’ve finished that, head back to your camp and start gathering items to trade. You can do this by speaking with Carl, who is usually near the wagon.
When you talk to him, select the ‘manage provisions’ option. Then, from the menu that appears, choose ‘camp provisions’. This will open your inventory, allowing you to choose which trade goods you want to take with you.
It costs 100 Alms to pack trade goods, and this amount will be taken from your camp’s funds. You can view your current funds in the top right corner of the menu.
With your goods packed, head to a stable to load them onto your horse, or go to a wagon depot if you’re using a wagon.

You can also donate items to Carl, which will directly benefit your camp. These donations won’t be treated as trade goods, but will instead be used to help your camp grow and become better.
How to Sell Trade Goods
Once your trade goods are prepared, you can take them to a trading post to sell or deliver them. The Goldleaf Trading Post is usually the nearest one to camp.
You can sell items directly at a trading post, but you’ll get a lower price compared to bringing them in packed on your horse or wagon.
