As a Pokémon fan, I’m so hyped for the Mega Dimension DLC in Pokémon Legends: Z-A! It’s bringing back a ton of Pokémon I love, and even better, it’s introducing new Mega Evolutions! To explore this cool new area called Hyperspace Lumiose, you have to earn points by doing research tasks for a character named Corbeau, who’s part of this group called the Rust Syndicate. It sounds like a really interesting way to unlock more of the game!

So far, 2025 has been a busy year for Minecraft! Mojang, the game’s developer, changed how they release updates, moving to a new system called “game drops.” This allows them to add new features and content more quickly. We’ve already seen three game drops this year: Spring to Life in March, Chase the Skies in June, and The Copper Age in September. Now, as the year comes to a close, Mojang has released another new game drop.

Whether a game features fast-paced action, strategic turn-based battles, or something else entirely, some players are looking for truly innovative combat. They want a system so impressive that anything less will feel disappointing. Here are some games that deliver that level of quality in their combat.

Arcanine is a strong Fire-type Pokémon with a history stretching back to the very first games. Because Fire-type Pokémon were rare in those early titles, Arcanine was a particularly valuable pick for players who chose Squirtle or Bulbasaur as their starter. Even today, its high Attack, Special Attack, and Speed stats make it a great choice for battling Grass, Steel, Ice-type Pokémon, and many others.

After some disappointment with the Edge of Fate expansion, Destiny 2 players seem much happier with the new Renegades update. While it’s not flawless, the expansion has been well-received, largely due to its Star Warsinspired elements, fresh weapons and armor, and the engaging new Lawless Frontier gameplay—which shares similarities with games like Helldivers 2*. Bungie is continuing to improve the game, with a significant update released on December 9th.

As a Pokémon fan, I’m so hyped for the Mega Dimension DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A! It’s bringing Hoopa and Zeraora into the game, which is amazing, but what really has me excited is that Pokémon can now go above level 100! That’s a first for any Pokémon game, and I can’t wait to train them up!
