Jacinda Chew, Insomniac Games’ Senior Art Director, discussed the abundant reflections found within the universe of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, such as skyscraper windows, Spider-Man’s goggles, and large bodies of water. Unfortunately, when players opt for performance mode, they don’t get to enjoy the game in its highest resolution, leading to a balance between the creative goals and the technical constraints of the console.

In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 for the PlayStation 5 Pro, Insomniac Games is striving to deliver exceptional detail and fluid gameplay regardless of graphics settings selected by players. The PS5 Pro boasts increased fidelity, up to three times more ray tracing, a custom silicon AI upscale, and anti-aliasing that allows the GPU to render even better quality and detail.

On the PlayStation 5 Pro, gamers can enjoy the same high-quality depiction of the game world and characters as seen in Fidelity mode, all while swinging smoothly through New York City at a steady 60 frames per second.
