How to Remove Bismuth Emitters from Aeserion’s Back in Crimson Desert

In the Deleyssia game, the “Shackled God” quest involves helping an ancient god named Aeserion. He’s been trapped inside a serpent’s body by the Ancients, who want to steal his power. To free Aeserion, you must defeat his captors (listed below) and destroy the chains holding him.

This guide provides a complete step-by-step explanation of how to complete the “Shackled God” quest in Crimson Desert. It will show you how to destroy the Bismuth Emitters and purify the cores, ultimately freeing Aeserion to explore the world.

How to Start the Shackled God Faction Quest in Crimson Desert

  1. In the south region of Dewhaven (Deleyssia) you will find a separate island called Serpent Shrine.
  2. By standing on the altar at Serpent Shrine, you can speak with Aeserion, the Great Serpent.
  3. Once Aeserion has finished his speech, you will receive the “Shackled God” Faction Quest under the Deleyssia Faction Quests in the Journal.
  4. You will be tasked with finding and killing three Ancient bosses, which we have guides on here: Priscus the Ancient | Primus the Ancient | Praevus the Ancient.
  5. Once all these bosses have been dealt with, return to Aeserion at the Serpent Shrine to begin a “boss fight”.

To beat this boss, make sure you have Recovery Items, armor that protects against lightning, the Focus Force Palm skill, and the Turning Slash skill.

How to Cleanse the Cores That Are Binding Aeserion in Crimson Desert

  1. Across Aeserion’s back, you will find three Bismuth Emitters. These are marked red and are sticking up from a pole.
  2. You need to approach the Bismuth Emitter and use Turning Slash (R1+R2) to break it.
  3. This will reveal the metal rod embedded in Aeserion’s back.
  4. Use Focus (L3+R3) then Force Palm: Focus (R3) until you see a glowing gold weakspot inside Aeserion.
  5. Release R3, and the Bismuth Emitter will be destroyed.
  6. You need to repeat this with all three Bismuth Emitters, and then the boss fight will be complete.
  7. Be warned, taking too long on a Bismuth Emitter will see it temporarily dig into Aeserion and start electricuting his back, so try to stay away from it while he’s electrified and wait for it to go back to normal.

Rescuing Aeserion gives you his Sword, but it’s not a particularly powerful weapon. It functions like any other one-handed sword and doesn’t have any special enhancements.
