Sanctum of Penitence Puzzle Solution in Crimson Desert

In Crimson Desert, players must cleanse four Sanctums, including the Sanctum of Penitence, at the request of Elowen, the Witch of Wisdom. The Umbra Order will be fighting for control of the Sanctum, so you’ll need to take it back before you can solve the puzzle needed to cleanse it. Here’s a guide to help you complete the Sanctum of Penitence puzzle in Crimson Desert.

Sanctum of Penitence Location in Crimson Desert

You can find the Sanctum of Penitence in the Crimson Desert, southeast of Hernand City. It’s located just past the Goldleaf Trading Post and near the Sanctum of Temperance. To get there, travel to the closest fast travel point and then ride your horse towards the Sanctum.

Okay, so when you get to the Sanctum of Penitence, the first thing you need to do is clear out all the Umbra enemies that are hanging around. Just keep fighting them until the liberation bar on the left side of your screen hits zero. Once it does, the Sanctum is officially yours, and you can start working on the puzzle to cleanse it!

The Sanctum of Penitence puzzle becomes available once players have unlocked Elowen, the Witch of Wisdom, in Crimson Desert.

Sanctum of Penitence Puzzle Solution in Crimson Desert

The Sanctum of Penitence puzzle in Crimson Desert is the simplest of all the Sanctums because you only have to locate one Fusion Reactor Core to solve it.

Go directly across from the large machine, heading south, into the ruins. Look for a staircase with damaged flooring. The Fusion Reactor Core is located in the debris underneath, and you can use Axiom Force to pick it up and store it in your Kuku Pot.

Once you have the Fusion Reactor Core, head up the stairs and carefully drop down into the ruined area with the pillars. Go to the location shown in the image, and then wait for the floor to collapse under Kliff.

Kliff will discover a secret area within the ruins containing a treasure chest. Inside, players will find the Blackwing Leather Gloves, a piece of armor from the Crowcaller’s Blackwing set.

After you’ve searched the Sanctum of Penitence, go to the main machine. Remove the Fusion Reactor Core and put it on top of the pillar. Then, climb onto the pillar and use an Aerial Force Palm to secure the core in place.

After completing that step, you’ll solve the Sanctum of Penitence puzzle in Crimson Desert and earn the Kuku Pack blueprint as a reward.
