Get ready to battle powerful robotic enemies in the main story of Crimson Desert. The Thunder Tank and Storm Crusher are tough late-game bosses, but surprisingly, they share the same weakness despite having different elemental strengths. Because of this, we’ve created a single guide to help you defeat them both.
Both the Thunder Tank and Storm Crusher attack with explosives and charge directly at you. You won’t be able to defeat them by just hitting them with your sword because their armor is too strong. Luckily, there’s a way to take them down using their Stun Meter, and we’ll explain how it works below.
You absolutely need the Aerial Maneuver skill—learned by reaching Axiom Force Level 2—before taking on either the Thunder Tank or the Storm Crusher. It’s also a good idea to bring plenty of Stamina and healing items.
How to Beat Thunder Tank in Crimson Desert
- Thunder Tank is located in the Valvegard Garrison in Deleysia.
- The Thunder Tank will charge at you three times, which is why you should lead it to the back of the room so it gets stuck between the wooden scaffolding.
- You can only damage the Thunder Tank by building the stun meter. This is easily achieved with Turning Slash (R1+R2). We recommend using Turning Slash, recovering Focus with L3+R3, and repeating.
- When the Thunder Tank’s been stunned, the top of its dome will be exposed.
- Use Axiom Force (L3) on the stunned Thunder Tank, then Aerial Maneuver (Square x2) to climb to the top.
- When facing the green dome, use the R2 Stab attack to instantly kill the Thunder Tank.
How to Beat Storm Crusher in Crimson Desert
- Storm Crusher is located in the Aeronautical Research Base in Deleysia.
- Storm Crusher will fire a volley of cannons, which can all be dodged when timed with the red flash.
- After a few volley shots, Storm Crusader will charge at you three times, which all need to be evaded from a distance to avoid being instantly killed.
- Between cannon fire and after all charges, you need to use Turning Slash (R1+R2) to build the Stun Meter on Storm Crusher’s health bar.
- Once Storm Crusher’s Stun Meter is full, the top of his dome will expose a green power core.
- Quickly use Axiom Force + Aerial Maneuver (L3 + Square, Square) to vault on top of the Storm Crusher.
- When clinging to the Storm Crusher, use R2 to Stab at the dome and pierce through it, which will instantly destroy Storm Crusher.
