As a seasoned Guardian with countless hours spent venturing through the cosmos of Destiny 2, I can confidently say that these weapon rolls are nothing short of extraordinary.
For a while, there was some anxiety among the players of Destiny 2 regarding the likelihood of obtaining preferred weapon attributes dropping. Upon further examination, Bungie found that there was indeed an issue making it more difficult to get specific rolls. To make up for this, Banshee will be offering a variety of weapons boasting exceptional perk combinations, which everyone can purchase.
The majority of these weapons are quite ancient, but they pack a significant punch even when measured against the latest weapons from Destiny 2’s Episode: Revenant. These firearms will become available on November 19th, although Bungie hasn’t specified an exact date for their expiry. However, by this time, you should be able to acquire these guns at Gunsmith. As of now, here is a list of all the weapons you can anticipate finding there.
Multimach CCX
- Polygonal Rifling + Tactical Mag + Attrition Orbs + Kinetic Tremors + Reload Masterwork
The Multimach isn’t typically renowned as a weapon for Player vs Environment (PvE), yet, a combination of Attrition Orbs and Kinetic Tremors makes it quite effective against AI opponents. It essentially functions like a 900 Rounds Per Minute Submachine Gun that boosts abilities, activates Orb of Power effects, and inflicts Area of Effect damage. Although guns such as the Immortal and the Ikelos SMG may have better compatibility with classes, a Multimach equipped with this perk setup is beneficial for numerous builds too.
Attraction Spheres replenish action points and activate skills that demand Power Spheres. In contrast, Dynamic Quakes increase damage on targets, and can also activate Attraction Spheres. However, keep in mind that Attraction Spheres have an internal cool-down period, so using Dynamic Quakes won’t guarantee a constant supply of Spheres.
Rose
- Fluted Barrel + Accurized Rounds + Slideshot + Explosive Payload + Smooth Grip + Handling Masterwork
For those finding it tough to acquire a Rose in Destiny 2, this one’s for you. Sporting Slideshot and Explosive Payload as its premier PvP traits, it performs admirably in both Player vs. Environment (PvE) scenarios too. This is a remarkably versatile build, though it could benefit from a different Barrel and Masterwork enhancement. Overall, an excellent pick for Handcannon enthusiasts.
In simpler terms, Slideshot partially reloads a gun’s magazine and boosts the next shot’s range and stability when you slide. These enhancements are particularly beneficial in the Crucible, as they can often decide a duel by allowing the first shot to land. Additionally, Explosive Payload eliminates damage reduction for a portion of each shot’s damage, causing enemy Guardians to recoil more than normal. Furthermore, it increases a weapon’s damage output against enemies in PvE scenarios.
Indebted Kindness
- Smart Drift Control + Tactical Mag + Loose Change + Voltshot + Velocity Masterwork
With just Voltshot, an Indebted Kindness weapon can become a divine roll, but when combined with Loose Change, the power level skyrockets. Jolt functions as an elemental disadvantage, meaning that each enemy struck by Voltshot will receive it. This in turn significantly boosts Indebted Kindness’s reload speed, aim assist, and movement speed while aiming continuously, thanks to Loose Change.
The Voltshot functions similarly to the Kill Clip ability. Upon destroying a target with a Voltshot weapon, your next shot will inflict an electric effect on other targets. Additionally, Loose Change provides all the stated advantages to the weapon when players eliminate enemies under the influence of elemental weaknesses.
Compass Rose
- Corkscrew Rifling + Light Mag + Snapshot Sights + Slideshot + Handling Masterwork
As a Destiny 2 gamer, I’ve got to say, the Compass Rose shotgun is one of my top picks, thanks to its impressive base Range and Aim Assist stats. Usually, it’s let down by below-par Handling, but with the perks you mentioned, that shouldn’t be a problem anymore. The Snapshot + Slideshot combo really turns this weapon into a formidable force in PvP, making me a tough opponent to beat!
Improving the rate at which your weapon’s Aim Down Sights (ADS) locks on targets significantly enhances Snapshot Sights. Although aiming down sights doesn’t drastically reduce pellet spread for Shotguns, it does contribute to a more consistent performance, particularly when combined with Slideshot and its range extension.
Hothead (Adept)
- Hard Launch + Impact Casing + Tracking Module + Clown Cartridge + Reload Masterwork
As a devoted fan, I can’t help but sing praises for The Hothead, renowned for its impressive Damage Per Second (DPS) capability. While this specific roll might not yield astronomical damage figures, it promises an effortless handling experience, particularly when tackling elusive bosses who seem to never stand still. On the other hand, Tracking Module stands out as a stellar perk for Rocket Launchers. Although Clown Cartridge may not augment raw damage numbers, it significantly enhances DPS by allowing for multiple rocket launches before the need for reloading.
On top of this exceptional weapon, it’s a bonus that it’s an Adept Hothead. This implies players can add an Adept Reload mod to boost its damage output even more. Remember to carry some Reserve mods for additional ammunition.
VS Chill Inhibitor
In Destiny 2’s Vesper’s Host dungeon, I stumbled upon a game-changing weapon – the VS Chill Inhibitor. This bad boy is not only one of the latest additions, but also one of the top guns to grind for in there. The secret lies in its unique combination of perks – Envious Arsenal and Bait and Switch. These perks activate when I hit enemies with my other weapons, transforming this Heavy Grenade Launcher into a relentless damage-dealing machine. It’s like having a secret weapon that makes every battle feel epic!
Instead of reloading the gun completely when jealousy arises (Arsenal), and increasing the firepower (Bait and Switch), aim to exhaust an entire Chill Inhibitor magazine on the enemy first. Then mark them with other weapons. Upon returning to it, you’ll find it fully reloaded with a damage bonus added. Continue this tactic until all ammo is depleted or the target is vanquished.
