Take-Two Interactive Gives Update On GTA 6 Development

As a dedicated fan who’s been waiting for this day since the release of GTA V back in 2013, I can’t help but feel a mix of anticipation and skepticism when it comes to GTA 6. The constant reassurance from Take-Two Interactive that the game will indeed launch in fall 2025 has become like a comforting mantra, yet I can’t shake off the fear of another delay. However, if this game is anything like its predecessors, it’ll be worth every moment of the wait.

On Wednesday, Take-Two Interactive conducted a conference call regarding their Q2 2025 earnings, and during this call, they provided some insights about the progress of Grand Theft Auto 6.

According to their recent announcement about earnings, they reiterated that the game is scheduled for release in autumn 2025.

The minor change in information, not significantly noticeable by many, further emphasizes the ongoing communication from the company regarding the expected launch of Grand Theft Auto 6. For several months now, Take-Two Interactive has consistently confirmed that the game is slated for a fall 2025 release.

Regarding any specific timeline for the trailer’s release or a definitive announcement about the launch date, there was no information provided in the release. Additional insights from Take-Two CEO Straus Zelnick will be shared during the upcoming call.
