As a seasoned gamer with a penchant for sleek, white-themed builds, the Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 Ion White Edition has caught my attention like a moth to a neon sign. With its striking white aesthetics and LCD display, it’s not just a cooler, but a statement piece for my pristine PC setup.
Cooler Master has been well-versed in All-in-one (AIO) liquid coolers, and their MasterLiquid series showcases this expertise. The MasterLiquid 360 Ion is their premium AIO cooler for the newest and most potent processors from Intel and AMD, yet it was only offered in a standard black color until now. Cooler Master has recently introduced the White Edition, which retains the same impressive performance while offering a fresh look to match all-white PC builds.
This device, named MasterLiquid 360 Ion, is a 360mm All-in-One (AIO) cooler, equipped with three Mobius 120P ARGB fans, each capable of spinning at 2400 RPM while maintaining a noise level of just 30 decibels, ensuring minimal disturbance from your computer. What sets this AIO apart is its built-in LCD screen – the first in Cooler Master’s lineup of coolers. The White Edition retains a sizable 2.1-inch display that can be customized using the MasterCtrl software.
As a gamer, I’ve seen plenty of all-in-one (AIO) systems sporting screens, some even larger than this one. But what sets this apart is its customizability. It can display real-time stats or fun animations, making my gaming experience more immersive. Plus, it’s got addressable RGB LEDs around the screen, which I can sync with my software for an extra touch of personalization.
One remarkable aspect of the Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 Ion series lies in its pump design, which now boasts two chambers for enhanced structural robustness and stability. The series’ all-white fans, pump, and radiator create a harmonious aesthetic. Notably, Cooler Master has engineered the low-profile radiator in-house to provide high fin density without compromising on its sleek design. Additionally, the pump incorporates an integrated addressable RGB controller, making it simple to power and illuminate with only two cables connecting to the motherboard for the Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 Ion White Edition.
This product works seamlessly with both Intel and AMD processors, including the latest Intel LGA 1851 socket. Managing all the cables might be a challenge, however, most of them can be hidden neatly behind the motherboard. The tubes measure 420mm in length, providing adaptability for front, side, or top installation. Cooler Master includes tube clips with the AIO cooler to assist in organizing the tubes if necessary.
Cooler Master MasterLiquid 360 Ion White Edition Price and Availability
At present, the White Edition doesn’t appear to be offered by any sellers yet, but it may become available soon. In the meantime, the black version can be purchased from Newegg for $250. It is uncertain if the white edition will carry a slightly higher price tag when it becomes available. The MasterLiquid 360 Ion, priced at $250, isn’t an inexpensive all-in-one (AIO) cooler, and its cost puts it up against competitors such as the LIAN LI Galahad II LCD and the NZXT Kraken RGB 360mm. Both of these alternatives feature displays and three 120mm fans.
