Amazon Games’ hit MMORPG, originally titled New World, made its debut on PCs in September 2021. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions were released on October 15, 2024, under the new title New World: Aeternum. This transition coincided with the start of the Nightfall Hallow event in New World: Aeternum. During this spooky seasonal event, players could engage in special limited-time activities and quests to win unique Halloween rewards. Additionally, by defeating Baalphazu, the level 66 Nightfall Hollow world boss, players could acquire armor pieces, costumes, and Nightveil Tokens as rewards. Before the most recent update, these Nightveil Tokens earned during the Nightveil Hallow event could be redeemed in the shop for free skins, emotes, and additional items.
