In ARC Raiders, keys are used to open doors to rooms containing better loot. If you’re searching for blueprints or powerful weapons, these rooms are definitely worth exploring. While keys can appear randomly, you’ll have a higher chance of finding them by searching drawers and cabinets in houses. The Hospital Key, found on the Buried City map, unlocks a smaller loot room that’s easy to reach once you know the way.
How to Use Buried City Hospital Key in ARC Raiders
Okay, so when I’m hitting up those important locations, I’ve learned it’s way better to bring my own gear instead of relying on whatever free stuff is lying around. You never know when you’ll run into some aggressive Raiders or those tough ARC guys, and being prepared makes all the difference. For places like the hospital, where things get tight, I like to use something like the Il Toro or Kettle – they’re good for a lighter loadout. But if I’m going in expecting a real fight, I’ll grab the Bobcat or Vulcano. And honestly, a couple of Jolt Mines are a lifesaver. I always place them near the doors to give me a heads-up if someone’s coming.
Begin a new game on the Buried City map and head towards the hospital. Before you go inside, put the Hospital Key in your Safe Pocket to keep it safe. Enter the hospital from the west side, near the Field Depot, and immediately turn left. Explore the rooms, fighting off enemies like Pops and Fireballs. Keep going until you see a locker room on your right. The locked room you need is on the left, and that’s where you’ll use the key.
Once you’re inside, close the door and search thoroughly. Look in the medical bag, grenade pouch, and any drawers for helpful supplies. You might find blueprints here, but they aren’t always available.
To find better items, play when the map has special conditions like a Hurricane, Night Raid, or Cold Snap. These events make loot more valuable.
Once the room is clear, leave the building and go to the designated extraction point, such as the Northern Station. For a safer escape, it’s a good idea to bring a Hatch Key to help you avoid combat along the way.
