Over the years, we’ve seen some great official collaborations between major video game franchises, but fan-made crossovers often become just as popular. A recent example is a stunning recreation of the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center from Resident Evil Requiem built in The Sims 4. While fan designs in The Sims 4 often gain attention online, this particular build has been especially well-received, praised for both its detailed accuracy and its practical use for fans of Resident Evil Requiem.
Even after more than ten years, The Sims 4 remains popular thanks to its expansion packs and the huge amount of custom content created by its community. Players who love building in The Sims 4 often find inspiration from real-life places, but also from movies, TV shows, and other video games, using the game’s detailed tools to recreate unique designs. While most fan-made builds focus on looks, one player recently recreated the Rhodes Care Center from Resident Evil Requiem, and it’s actually helping other players navigate that survival horror game.
Resident Evil Requiem Care Center in The Sims 4
A Reddit user named stagla has built an incredibly detailed recreation of the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center from Resident Evil Requiem in The Sims 4. Fans of the game are now using stagla’s creation as a reference map to explore the creepy hospital. They meticulously rebuilt almost every room and important area from the first and second floors – including the exterior, dining room, main hall, guard office, patient rooms, nurses’ station, lobbies, examination room, isolation ward entrance, researcher’s office, and stairwells – as well as the lounge and rehabilitation ward. Anyone who’s played Resident Evil Requiem will instantly recognize each room, thanks to accurate details like flooring, furniture, curtains, and even a perfectly placed typewriter.

Players of both Sims 4 and Resident Evil Requiem have praised a detailed recreation of the Rhodes Center. Surprisingly, Requiem fans especially appreciate being able to view the Sims 4 build from above. They’ve found it helpful as a 3D map to plan routes through the medical facility in Resi. The in-game map in Resident Evil Requiem doesn’t show all the furniture and obstacles, so this Sims 4 version allows players to familiarize themselves with the layout and avoid problems, whether they’re playing casually or attempting a fast, trophy-hunting run. Best of all, the Rhodes Center is available on The Sims 4 gallery, letting Resident Evil Requiem players who also own The Sims 4 practice navigating the building before playing in Requiem.
Many fans are hoping EA and Maxis will announce a new Sims game, but others are happily continuing to create and build within the existing game. Players are using the wide range of available content packs to design everything from whimsical creations like Ariel’s castle from The Little Mermaid to intriguing builds like the mansion from Clue in The Sims 4. As the game approaches a significant anniversary, fans can find inspiration for custom builds and stay updated on new content and potential future releases.
