One of these elusive resources is Planks, which players will need early in the game and may struggle to find without some guidance.
It might seem straightforward to gather planks from the abundant trees nearby, but the game adds a layer of complexity to it. Fortunately, obtaining Planks isn’t overly challenging once you know the method; it’s just not clearly explained. Once you figure out how to acquire some Planks in your inventory, they’ll come pouring in. This guide aims to assist players in learning this process quickly so they can start accumulating Planks at a rapid pace.
How To Get Planks
Players won’t stumble upon planks lying around in the wild; instead, they’ll have to venture out and search for them.
Players can acquire Planks by chopping down trees in the forest. Simply arm yourself with an axe and strike the large trees until they fall over. Once felled, give the tree trunk a few more whacks with your axe until it splits into usable Planks.
Instead of collecting the logs, the player should now focus on creating a tool called an Adze. This can be done by gathering the required materials and following the appropriate steps. Here’s what they’ll need to make an Adze:
- Stick x2
- Stone x2
Players simply need to pick up an Adze and strike a log lying on the ground until it vanishes. In its place, a Plank will be added to their inventory. Each Log yields exactly one Plank, so players won’t receive more than one at once. With numerous trees around, gathering enough Logs to make Planks shouldn’t take long for anyone.
Players can then use these Plans to build more structures, furthering their Dynasty Level.
