Kena Bridge of Spirits: How to Get More Karma

In Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Karma is what you use to unlock and improve your abilities. You earn it by playing through the story – usually by solving puzzles in the environment or discovering hidden areas with collectibles.

Having trouble earning Karma in Kena: Bridge of Spirits? This guide can help you get more, allowing you to unlock all of Kena’s abilities more quickly.

How to Get More Karma in Kena Bridge Of Spirits

You earn Karma by defeating enemies affected by corruption, solving environmental puzzles to heal the world, and finding fruit to feed your Rot companions. You can then use this Karma – accessed through the Upgrade Menu (press the ‘-‘ button on Nintendo Switch) – to unlock new abilities for Kena and her Rot.

To earn more Karma by restoring Fallen Statues, you now need to use the Rot ability (Y button) on them. These statues are scattered throughout the game world, so be sure to look for them whenever you enter a new area.

You can find Fruit by using Kena’s Pulse ability (press L) to scan the area. Once you’ve scanned, follow the Rot trails to the nearest object you can interact with – they’re usually hidden inside Barrels or Chests.

Rot Puzzles, sometimes called Flower Puzzles, challenge players to defeat the enemies in an area and then destroy all the corrupted blooms using the Rot ability (Y) and the pulse ability (L). After clearing all the blooms, a larger bloom will appear in the center that you can also cleanse. Completing these puzzles repeatedly earns a significant amount of Karma.

Players can explore numerous enemy-filled areas and repeatedly defeat the enemies there for rewards. They’ll use Warp Stones to travel between zones, and each time they defeat enemies, they’ll earn Karma without needing to solve the Flower Puzzles. Keep repeating this process to gain endless Karma and unlock all abilities!
