The new Mega Man DLC is now available for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds! This downloadable content pack includes two playable characters, a new vehicle, a race track, and music all based on the classic Mega Man games from Capcom.
The latest update for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds adds characters from Mega Man as a paid DLC. This is the fourth paid character pack released for the game, following additions from Minecraft, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Pac-Man. Two more paid packs are planned for 2026, featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and Avatar Legends universes. Alongside these, the game has also received a lot of free content, adding characters like Hatsune Miku, Joker from Persona 5, Ichiban Kasuga from Like a Dragon, and AiAi from Super Monkey Ball to the racing roster in the past six months.

The new Mega Man DLC for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds adds a variety of content, just like previous DLC packs for games like Minecraft, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Pac-Man. Players can now race as Mega Man and Proto Man, drive a new kart, and compete on the Wily Castle track, all while listening to a new soundtrack. SEGA released a trailer on March 26th to highlight these additions, and it also shows off a new Mega Buster item that lets players attack opponents ahead of them.

Players can get the new Mega Man content for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds in a couple of ways. If you already own the game, you can buy the Mega Man DLC pack for $5.99. Or, you can get the Season Pass for $29.99, which includes the Mega Man pack, all previously released DLC, and access to the TMNT and Avatar packs when they become available later this year. If you purchased the Deluxe Edition of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, you should already have the Season Pass.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds’ Mega Man Festival Begins March 26
To mark the release of the new Mega Man downloadable content, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is holding a special ‘Mega Man Festival’ from March 26th at 8 PM Eastern Time to March 29th at 7:59 PM Eastern Time. Players can earn Festival Points by taking part in the event, and these points can be exchanged for in-game prizes. Rewards include cosmetic items like a “Blue Flash” title card, decals, and a Mega Manthemed horn, as well as a new Item Buster Kit gadget. While these Mega Man* Festival rewards might be available for free in the future, the event this weekend is the only way to get them right now.
