Crimson Desert: How to Get Gold Ore

To succeed in Crimson Desert – whether it’s fighting off groups of bandits or challenging tough bosses – you’ll need to be skilled and strategic, and consistently gather resources to improve your equipment.

Mining gold is a fast way to earn money. You can turn the ore into gold bars and then sell them at the bank for 500 silver, or you can invest the gold to potentially earn even more profit later on.

Being able to afford good food and equipment will greatly help you in your journey to find the Greymanes, and there are some key strategies to earn a lot of gold quickly.

This guide will walk you through finding a gold mine map, getting the most gold possible, and share my top spot for gold farming.

How to Acquire the Gold Vein Map

You’ll get the gold vein map after finishing the “Estate in Dismay” quest for House Roberts. This quest takes place at the Karin quarry, which is overrun with tough enemies called bleed bandits, and is guarded by a powerful boss named the Excavatron.

It’s definitely worth finishing this series of quests! You’ll get a map that always shows where to find gold, plus a handy tool called a mining knuckledrill to help you gather it.

Locating Gold Mines

After finishing the ‘Estate in Dismay’ quest, open your inventory, choose the map, and use it. This will reveal the locations of gold mines in your journal, as shown above.

You’ll now be able to pinpoint the location of these gold mines by selecting open map.

Anvil Hill Cave Location

Since I found a map to a gold vein, I’ve been mining at Anvil Hill Cave, which is shown on the map. It’s northeast of Hernand and should be a good place for many players to farm gold because it’s easy to get to and provides a lot of gold.
