Take-Two Isn’t Worried About GTA 6 Series S Performance

As a long-time gaming enthusiast with memories of playing GTA III on my old PlayStation, I can confidently say that Strauss Zelnick’s reassurance about GTA 6 running smoothly on the Xbox Series S is music to our ears. His commitment to supporting platforms as long as consumers are using them speaks volumes about Take-Two‘s dedication to their audience and the gaming community at large.

As a devoted fan, I can confidently say that I share the same sentiments as Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two Interactive. He mentioned that he’s not overly concerned about Grand Theft Auto 6 running smoothly on the Xbox Series S. This gives us fans assurance that we can expect a high-quality gaming experience regardless of which console we choose to play GTA 6 on.

During the recent Take-Two earnings call, I was curious to hear if there were any concerns about GTA 6 encountering issues on the Xbox Series S, given its potential as one of the most technologically advanced games yet. Zelnick reassured us that they will keep supporting platforms as long as gamers are still using them, acknowledging that while there may be varying levels of technology, they will “devise a solution” to ensure all platforms receive support.

Zelnick expressed that he’s not concerned about hardware improvements as he doesn’t concern himself with factors beyond his control. Instead, he places faith in the audience, and if they support their properties, it’s crucial to ensure availability across various platforms. Given this approach, it seems probable that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be compatible with Xbox Series S.

Zelnick additionally talked about computers and predicted that open formats will expand further. Take-Two views the PC platform as “an increasingly significant segment of the gaming industry in the future,” and they’re ready to accommodate this growth. In conclusion, Zelnick stated, “We adapt technology when it makes sense to do so, provided there’s a large enough audience to justify the effort.” As for Grand Theft Auto 6, its release date on PC has not been announced yet.
