In Crimson Desert, Diamonds are a crucial material for crafting and improving Abyss Gear. You can’t buy them from shops; instead, you’ll need to mine them in caves. Diamond caves are uncommon in the world of Pywel, but luckily, players can discover one fairly soon into the game. This guide explains how to locate a cave and gather Diamonds in Crimson Desert.
How to Get Diamonds in Crimson Desert
Early in Crimson Desert, players can discover a Diamond cave near the Howling Hill Greymanes camp, located just to the south. Inside the Hernand Highlands Cave – found in the large pit south of the camp – you’ll find Diamonds. This is the same pit where you can complete the Dragon Stone Chamber puzzle, which unlocks a fast travel point called the Abyss Cresset.
To get Diamonds, you’ll need to buy a Pickaxe from the shop in Hernand City and use it to mine the Diamond deposits.
At the bottom of the large crater, you’ll see a small cave opening on the southern side. Descend into the crater and enter the cave. As you follow the winding walls inside, you’ll notice stalactites hanging from the ceiling.
Deep inside the cave, you’ll find Diamond minerals you can mine. You can use a Pickaxe or your Force Palm ability to collect them. Each mineral deposit will give you up to two Diamonds, which you can pick up after they drop.
In Crimson Desert, once you collect enough Diamonds, you can visit a witch to create new Abyss Gear or improve the gear you already have. You can also sell Diamonds to merchants for a nice profit, making them a reliable way to earn silver coins.
