Mantra-OM Airdrop Announced: Launch Date, Eligibility & More

As a seasoned analyst with years of experience in the crypto market, I must admit that the recent announcement by the Mantra team has piqued my interest significantly. With over 350,000 community members eagerly awaiting this massive Gendrop airdrop, it’s not just the potential financial gains that have me intrigued, but also the sheer scale and complexity of the distribution mechanism.

The surge in the cryptocurrency market has ignited great enthusiasm among investors, but for Mantra enthusiasts, their excitement has been amplified since the team confirmed a 50M OM airdrop. This means that over 350,000 community members can take part in this significant airdrop event. Notably, NFT holders, stakers, and contributors actively involved within the ecosystem are all eligible to participate. Although the team had hinted at this back in April, it’s now officially set to occur soon.

Mantra Team Announced the OM Airdrop & Allocation List

On X, the Mantra team shared an official update about their highly-anticipated, soon-to-be 50M airdrop scheduled for November 8th. This airdrop is widely recognized and popular, with the eligible recipients’ list already released, adding to the anticipation. Those who are interested can find out their allocation by navigating to the Mantra Zone.

The community can now check their allocations of the 50M $OM GenDrop.

Additionally, we shared details about the qualification requirements, outlining the different eligible activities, distribution of funds for each category, and the valid addresses within the scope… (in a more casual context, you could say: We spilled the beans on what it takes to qualify, listing the various tasks, how the money is divided, and which addresses are good to go)

The team has made sure that various groups are incorporated and each group is assigned their own portion, making the process more straightforward for numerous individuals. Given that each class has distinct qualification standards, this Gendrop airdrop aims to provide all participants with fair chances.

According to the official MANTRA announcement, the OM airdrop has been distributed among 11 groups and approximately 350,000 users. Users who took part in the KARMA Pre-Mainnet Quests are set to receive the largest portion of this distribution. About 60% (or 30,000,000 units) of the total airdrop has been earmarked for these participants, with around 124,758 different addresses receiving their share.

In this setup, eligible users will be awarded their tokens from a pool with 615,000 participants in total. The team addressed concerns about limited addresses by stating that it may seem like only a small percentage is involved. However, they pointed out that around 124,760 addresses accumulated at least 57% of the KARMA tokens, serving as a significant portion of the criteria. Moreover, the Mantra team emphasized fair distribution and has chosen Kurtotic Adjustment over linear distribution methods for this purpose.

Remaining OM Airdrop Airdrop Allocation

As a researcher, I’ve found that approximately 12% of the total supply is earmarked for Galxe Season 1, with 125,725 units reserved. To qualify for this allocation, one must have engaged in the Galxe quest and amassed over 215 points, which makes them eligible for the Gendrop airdrop. The more points accumulated, the greater the reward. Notably, there’s an additional eligibility requirement for adding an EVM address to this pool as well.

Beyond what’s already mentioned, my holdings include a stake in ATOM Staker within the MANTRA Node (8%), Bad Kids Non-Fungible Tokens (4%), Celestine Sloths Non-Fungible Tokens (4%), Pudgy Penguins Non-Fungible Tokens (3.5%), Testnet validators (3.5%), Mad Scientists Non-Fungible Tokens (2.5%), Galxe Season 2 (1%), MANTRA Non-Fungible Tokens (1%), and Bit Kids Non-Fungible Tokens (0.5%).
