Get ready for MOOSA: Dirty Fate, a new action game set in 17th century Korea! It’s coming to Xbox Game Pass next year. The game was announced during the recent Xbox Partner Preview, which also shared news about Hades 2 coming to Game Pass and a brand new Bluey game launching this fall as part of the subscription service.
IGGYMOB, a South Korean game studio, is creating and releasing MOOSA: Dirty Fate. They’re probably best known for Gungrave G.O.R.E, a 2022 third-person shooter. This game continued the Gungrave series, which originally appeared on the PS2 in the early 2000s and was revived with the 2017 PSVR game Gungrave VR. IGGYMOB also made Dogfighter WW2, a 40-player battle royale set during World War II.
MOOSA: Dirty Fate Launches on Xbox Game Pass in 2027
The action game MOOSA: Dirty Fate is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S in 2027. It will be available on Xbox Game Pass starting on day one. Players who buy the game through the Microsoft Store will also be able to play it on PC, Xbox, and the cloud without paying extra, thanks to the Xbox Play Anywhere feature. MOOSA: Dirty Fate joins a growing library of popular action games on Xbox Game Pass, alongside titles like Hades, Dead Cells, Gears of War, Doom, and Halo.

The action RPG MOOSA: Dirty Fate is set in 17th-century Korea. Players take on the role of Gunn, a powerful warrior driven by revenge. As Gunn, you’ll battle waves of demons hiding among humans while journeying through a beautifully rendered, yet devastated, Joseon Korea. The land is suffering from a sudden outbreak of disease, widespread famine, and extreme weather.
MOOSA: Dirty Fate appears to be a fast-paced, third-person action game focused on close-quarters combat. The reveal trailer shows the player character engaging in intense battles, slashing through enemies, blocking attacks, and performing powerful finishing moves. Players will also use a bow, not just for ranged attacks, but as a tool for special abilities – the trailer hints at lightning-based attacks and a unique ability to catch incoming arrows and fire them back at enemies. Beyond fighting groups of demons, MOOSA: Dirty Fate will include challenging boss battles against large creatures drawn from Korean folklore.
Besides MOOSA: Dirty Fate, IGGYMOB is developing Gungrave G.O.R.E: Blood Heat, a complete remake of their 2022 third-person shooter. Built in Unreal Engine 5, this new version will have updated graphics, more fluid animations, and entirely new ways to fight. Gungrave G.O.R.E: Blood Heat was first shown at an Xbox event, with its debut during the Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2025 broadcast last September.
