After some disappointment with the Edge of Fate expansion, Destiny 2 players seem much happier with the new Renegades update. While it’s not flawless, the expansion has been well-received, largely due to its Star Warsinspired elements, fresh weapons and armor, and the engaging new Lawless Frontier gameplay—which shares similarities with games like Helldivers 2*. Bungie is continuing to improve the game, with a significant update released on December 9th.

As a Pokémon fan, I’m so hyped for the Mega Dimension DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A! It’s bringing Hoopa and Zeraora into the game, which is amazing, but what really has me excited is that Pokémon can now go above level 100! That’s a first for any Pokémon game, and I can’t wait to train them up!

Once you’ve finished the main story and seen the credits in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, you can begin the Mega Dimension DLC immediately after downloading an update. You’ll receive a notification that a new side quest has become available at the top of Hotel Z.

The heyday of classic role-playing games (RPGs) feels like a distant memory. Today, many RPGs prioritize quantity over quality, making games that truly focus on player choice and meaningful consequences stand out. The massive success of Baldur’s Gate 3 is a prime example – its popularity is largely due to the developers’ commitment to the fundamental elements of what makes an RPG great. While another game of this caliber might be a ways off, there are still plenty of promising RPGs on the horizon that aim to deliver deep, branching narratives where your choices – and even your mistakes – shape your unique story.

As a gamer, I’ve definitely noticed how much drama cosmetics can cause! It seems like developers are always trying to come up with cool skins that everyone will want. Games like Fortnite are all about bright, over-the-top stuff, which fits the game’s style perfectly, and they’re always bringing in crossovers – I’ve seen John Cena and Snoop Dogg running around in there! Call of Duty is doing the same thing, with celebrities like Seth Rogan and Nicki Minaj as playable characters. Honestly, these crossovers sell really well, which helps keep these big online games going. But it’s not always smooth sailing. With Battlefield 6, a lot of us in the community have been asking the developers to keep the cosmetics more realistic, since the game is supposed to feel grounded. It’s created a bit of a conflict – some players want flashy stuff, and others want things to fit the game’s serious tone, and it’s caused a lot of debate.

So, I’m really excited because the starters from the Hoenn region – like, the ones from Ruby and Sapphire – are getting Mega Evolutions in the new DLC for Legends: Z-A! But the cool thing is, even if you don’t buy the DLC, you can still get all the returning Pokémon that are already in the game. It’s awesome that they’re making it accessible for everyone!
