The Forgotten General is a very challenging boss in Crimson Desert, but you don’t actually have to defeat her to get her unique and stylish armor. You can find the armor set hidden throughout the game world!
The Forgotten General’s Odeck’s Protector Armor is inspired by classic samurai designs, and it’s a great choice for both style and protection, especially when combined with Abyss Gears. We’ve put together a guide with locations and maps to help you find every piece of the set.

- Head north of Demeniss, where you can find a cliff wall at the Hexe Sanctuary when facing north (on the map above).
- You’ll find a metal wall hiding a cave entrance, which can be destroyed with Focus Force Palm (L3+R3+R3).
- Locate the golden orb during Focus Force Palm and destroy all three of them so that you can access the cave and find the Treasure Chest.

- Head northwest of Pailune into the Wayward Woods.
- At the map marker above, you’ll find a blocked entrance in the cliff wall that leads to the Four Pits of the Wayward Woods.
- Use Focus Force Palm (L3+R3+R3) to locate the golden orb behind the wall, then strike it to destroy the wall and find a Treasure Chest inside.

- Head south of Pailune and follow the riverbank, where you’ll find a red wall.
- Follow the red wall east, and you’ll find a gap with a ladder that leads into a cellar.
- Enter the cellar and follow the stairs down into Black Bear’s Hideout, which is infested with hostile Black Bears, so be ready for a fight.
- As you enter the open den of the Black Bears, head south and take the first left to find a hole in the floor. When you drop down, you can find the Odeck’s Protector Plate Cloak sitting on the floor.

- Venture south of Hernand into the Witchwoods.
- Further south of the Witchwoods is the Perwin Quarry, where you’ll find a metal wall in the cliffside.
- Use Focus Force Palm (L3+R3+R3) on the metal wall to find a golden orb which can be struck with Force Palm to explode the wall and reveal the Treasure Chest inside.

- Head south of Hernand to find the Sanctum of Temperance, which we’ve marked on the map above.
- Follow the stairs from the entrance to the Sanctum of Temperance, and you’ll find a hole in the wall that you can climb through.
- On the west side of this room, to the right of the floating cube, is a hidden room covered in vines, which you can simply walk through to find a Treasure Chest.
