The Bitcoin Switch: What’s the Catch?

One of the rare few who predicted Bitcoin’s 2025 peak has suddenly decided to start snacking on BTC again, much to the surprise of his 180,000 followers. Imagine that-a man who once bet against the moon now trying to hitch a ride on its tail. How delightfully contradictory!

KillaXBT, a master of anonymity, whispers to his followers that Bitcoin is teetering on the edge of a bottomless pit, but he’s “gradually accumulating” like a squirrel hoarding acorns for a winter that might never come. Spoiler: it’s probably coming.

But hold your horses! The analyst warns that Bitcoin might spend the next few months wobbling like a drunk tightrope walker. “Another 10%-15% downside? Oh, absolutely. But don’t worry, dear reader-it’s just a temporary detour. Or maybe a permanent one. Who knows? The market’s a fickle friend, much like a chocolate fountain that occasionally spits out raisins.

“BTC has already corrected 51% from its highs, and I believe the most we might see is another 10%-15% downside before a macro bottom forms. When investing and scaling into spot, I don’t focus on catching the exact bottom, I scale gradually as opportunities present themselves…

My swing short from $72,800 is part of this strategy. I may take scalps in between, but in terms of macro perspective, I estimate another four to six months before we reach a full bottom. This also means we should be prepared for increased chop.

So yes: as a trader, I’m shorting from the highs; as an investor, I’m gradually accumulating. Two strategies, different goals, same market. To be clear: as a trader, I’m trading the trend; as an investor, I’m gradually buying into the spot market.”

And lo! The analyst claims Bitcoin will eventually break through its old high of $126,000-like a stubborn child refusing to eat their vegetables. “My next swing will likely be a long to new highs. The time for swing shorts is over.” Translation: “I’m switching teams, but only because I’ve run out of tricks.”

Bitcoin is currently trading at $67,723, which is neither a victory nor a defeat, but a very polite shrug.
