The success of the Switch 2 highlights how much console launches have improved over the years. Many will remember the difficult starts of consoles like the Xbox 360, plagued by issues like the “Red Ring of Death,” or the unusual Nokia N-Gage. But those weren’t the only consoles to struggle; several failed so badly they quickly disappeared, taking their games with them. So, I just got my hands on the new Switch 2 Pro Controller, and it’s awesome! It basically lets you play all your Switch and Switch 2 games the way you’re used to, with a classic controller feel. It’s got all the stuff the original Pro Controller had – amiibo support, motion controls – but they’ve added a few cool things. There’s a dedicated button for GameChat, which is super handy, and two programmable back paddles on the grips. You can map those to any button you want, which is a game-changer. It ended up costing me $84.99, a little more than they originally planned, because of some tariffs, but honestly, it’s worth it.

Lionsgate is releasing Scream 4 on 4K Ultra HD for the first time. Fans can purchase a combo pack with 4K, Blu-ray, and digital copies for $42.99, or a limited edition steelbook for $34.99. The steelbook features the original movie poster, showcasing Ghost Face and his knife. The back cover includes the iconic line “Welcome home, Sidney,” and the inside art depicts Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott preparing for a fight. The standard slipcover version has a collage of red-toned character and suspect images, including returning stars David Arquette as Dewey Riley and Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers, as well as newer characters like Hayden Panettiere’s Kirby and Emma Roberts’ Jill.

Very few games have gotten that perfect combination right, and those are the ones we still remember as the best Spider-Man games.
