Ghost of Tsushima: All Iki Island Archery Challenge Locations

The Iki Island DLC for Ghost of Tsushima adds a brand-new map to explore, complete with new items to discover. Among these are charms, which boost Jin’s abilities and make him even more formidable against the Mongol invaders.

You can earn the Charm of Concentration by completing the new archery challenges. These challenges also unlock a new trophy in Ghost of Tsushima called Pride of Ishikawa. While finding and finishing all the challenges can be difficult, this guide will show you how to do it.

All Iki Island Archery Challenges in Ghost of Tsushima

Iki Island in Ghost of Tsushima features eight Archery Challenges. Their locations are listed in the table below.

Archery Challenge Location How to Reach Screenshot
Raider’s Promontory Near where players first land on Iki Island, they can travel north to find an an archery challenge. On the farthest north area of the map, players will cross a small water area to the Raider’s Promontory. To reach this archery challenge, players will need to use the grappling hook points and climb their way over to it.
East Of Lone Spirit Falls This archery challenge is located close to where players first appear on Iki Island, just east of Lone Spirit Falls. This is likely the first archery challenge that players will come across.
Yahata Forest This archery challenge is located in the southern portion of Yahata Forest, near Zasho River. Yahata Forest is on the easter side of Iki Island, southeast of Tatsu’s Ladder.
Zasho River This challenge is found along the river and can easily be found by following the river from the lake in the Tatsu’s Ladder area. This location is directly north of Senjo Gorge.
Kidafure Battlefield This challenge is located on the western part of Iki Island, northwest of Lake Nagata, and southwest of Old Gambler’s Wood.
Northwest of Saruiwa Following the western shore of Iki Island to the south, players will reach Sarubashi. A little farther southwest is where this next archery challenge can be found. It is also located northwest of Saruiwa (the area where players can climb the large mountain for an animal sanctuary).
Between Senjo Gorge & Weeping Mother’s Meadow Players can find this archery challenge on the edge of Senjo Gorge. It is on the outskirts and close to being around Weeping Mother’s Meadow. This area is also southwest of the Forest Cloud Temple.
Raider Memorial In the southernmost part of Iki Island, players can find the Raider Memorial. To unlock this challenge, players need to don the armor of Tadayori and talk to the raider at the gravesite. He will then set up the archery challenge for players to attempt.

What Are Archery Challenges & How To Complete Them

Archery challenges test how well a player can shoot. Each challenge has a time limit, and players earn rewards for finishing within 22 seconds. These challenges come in three difficulty levels – Bronze, Silver, and Gold – each with a different time requirement.

  • Bronze: achieved when a player completes the challenge within 15-22 seconds
  • Silver: between 7-15 seconds
  • Gold: 7 seconds or less

It’s best to begin the challenge by targeting the furthest paper lantern, as it’s the most difficult to hit. Once you’ve started, you’ll need to hit all the lanterns before time runs out. To help with this, we recommend using the Tadayori armor set and activating concentration mode to slow down time.

After finishing any challenge and earning at least a Bronze award, players will get the Charm of Concentration. Completing more challenges will upgrade this charm, making future attempts easier. It’s unlikely players will earn Gold on their first try at each challenge, but upgrading the charm will improve their chances.
