Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake Leak Backed Up by Rhythm Heaven Groove Announcement
A reliable source, Nate the Hate, recently said Nintendo is working on a complete remake of Ocarina of Time for the Switch 2, potentially releasing this holiday season. They also predicted Rhythm Heaven Groove would come out in summer 2026. Nintendo has now officially announced Rhythm Heaven Groove will be released on July 2nd. Because this prediction turned out to be accurate, the claim about the Ocarina of Time remake feels much more believable. While not a guarantee, it adds weight to the larger rumors surrounding the new Switch 2 console.
So, the buzz is that the Ocarina of Time remake for the Switch 2 isn’t just going to be the 3DS version re-released. Apparently, they’re building it completely from scratch for the new system, which is huge! I’m really curious to see how faithful they’ll be to the original game, though.
