How to Get the Tidebreaker Boots in Crimson Desert
You can find the Tidebreaker Boots in a treasure chest within the Guardian Cave. This cave is hidden behind a waterfall in the Crimson Desert. To find the waterfall, look under the large wooden bridge located just southeast of the “L” in Delesyia on the map.
- Fast travel to the Snaketail Wall Abyss Nexus.
- Follow the narrow pathway deeper inside to find the treasure chest containing the Tidebreaker Boots.
Turn south, and you’ll see a large bridge with a wooden roof.
Head to the bridge and look to the chasm on the right side to find the waterfall.
Drop down to a small platform just in front of the waterfall with the small pile of stacked rocks.
Use a stab or thrusting move like Kliff’s Stab ability (requires a skill point) to punch through the waterfall and reach the Guardian Cave.
Destroy the gold vein in the cave using the Force Palm ability.
In Crimson Desert, if you spot a small pile of rocks at the base of a waterfall, it usually means there’s a hidden cave behind it. You can access this cave by attacking the waterfall with a stabbing or thrusting move.
How to Use Tidebreaker Boots in Crimson Desert
- The Tidebreaker Boots have a special ability called Tidebreaker that can be used by pressing the dodge key when Kliff is swimming in any body of water.

- Each time Tidebreaker is used, it pushes Kliff forward a large distance, drastically reducing the time it takes to cross water.
- The Tidebreaker Boots’ special ability has 5 charges. Charges recover after an internal cooldown of roughly 5 in-game minutes (5 seconds in real time).
- The Tidebreaker Boots can only be worn by Kliff.
- The Tidebreaker Boots cannot be upgraded through refinement.
