Gumshoe in the Opera Collectibles – Mouse P.I. for Hire Mouseburg Opera

The third main case in Mouse: P.I. for Hire is “Gumshoe in the Opera,” which takes place at the Mouseburg Opera. While solving this case, players can collect two Baseball Cards, three Newspapers, and two Schematics. If players have taken on Tammy’s side job, “Show Some Culture, Jack,” they can also finish it by taking a photo from one of the opera boxes.

Below are the exact locations for all Mouseburg Opera collectibles in Mouse: P.I. for Hire.

All Mouseburg Opera Collectible Locations in Mouse P.I. for Hire (Gumshoe in the Opera)

Newspaper

As soon as the level starts, go inside the first building. Check the table to your right – you’ll find a Newspaper there.

Baseball Card

Okay, so after I freed the Stage Designer, I found the Joe Jody Gain card. It was just sitting on a table to the right of that… well, the wall that’s definitely not suspicious at all, in the same room as the Boomstick.

Newspaper No. 27611

Mouseburg Herald No. 27611 is on the chair directly next to the NPC that gives you Double Jump.

Baseball Card

Once you’ve gotten the Double Jump ability, go back to the room where you originally fell through the ceiling. Stand on the crate next to the wall, use Double Jump to reach the ledge, and then follow the path all the way to the end – you’ll find the Bartholomew Creasly Baseball Card there.

Schematic

So, after I unlocked the Double Jump, I found a barrel with a Schematic on top. It’s cool because Schematics let you upgrade weapons in Mouse: P.I. for Hire, but you gotta finish a few more cases first to unlock the upgrade feature. It’s a bit of a grind, but worth it!

Schematic

As you’re trying to escape, going into the sitting room will make the floor fall through in the hallway ahead. You can find the Schematic by searching the wardrobe in the corner of that room.

Picture for Tammy

Okay, so I finally figured out where to take that photo for the ‘Show Some Culture, Jack’ side job! It’s in the opera box just past the collapsed hallway. Once I’ve got the shot, I need to head back to the P.I. Office and chat with Tammy to finish it up and get 100 coins. And get this – you can spend those coins at Soup and Nuts, the shop right next to our office! They sell all sorts of useful stuff like ammo and equipment, plus cool collectibles like newspapers and comics. I’m definitely going to check their stock after every case – you never know what you’ll find!

Newspaper No. 21261

Mouseburg Herald No. 21261 is on a small table in the room just past the kitchen.

Do You Need All Mouseburg Opera Collectibles?

You don’t have to find every collectible in the Mouseburg Opera to finish the game. But grabbing the Schematics will help you play better, and collecting the Baseball Card and Newspaper counts towards 100% completion. If you’re aiming to find everything, make sure you get those items before you leave the Opera.
