In the game Mouse: P.I. for Hire, the second main mission, “The Vanishing Act,” takes place in Vaudeville. While completing this mission, players can find collectibles – two Newspapers, two Comic Books, two Baseball Cards, and four Schematics – which help them progress and improve their weapons. This guide details the precise locations of all these collectibles in Vaudeville.

Newspaper No. 32186
Okay, so after I showed the Lieutenant my ID, I went through the door on the left. As soon as I was through, I glanced to my right and spotted a locker – the Newspaper was inside!
Comic Book #3
Comic Book #3 is on a chair to the right of the MPD Rookie in the theater.
Baseball Card
As you’re exiting the theater, you’ll find the Charlie Pepper baseball card on a small table near the top of the stairs, right after passing the room with the sign for the armor tutorial.
Baseball Card
As you head to the assistant’s apartment, you’ll find a typewriter inside a building. Carry it upstairs, then break the window to reach the fire escape. Use the fire escape to get inside the apartment. You’ll find the Joel Blunt baseball card on a stool right by the front door.
Schematic
Find a barrel outside and use it to break the cracked wall near the locked door. Once you’ve done that, grab the key located by the toilet, unlock the door, and you’ll find the Schematic on a table inside.
Comic Book #4
Exit the apartment building and defeat the enemies. Then, turn right. You’ll find Comic Book #4 on a bench.
Schematic
Look at the table across from the first subway typewriter to find the Schematic.
Schematic
When the subway car stops, go into the bathroom near the front. You’ll find the Schematic on a table behind the person cleaning up.
Schematic
Walk through the subway car and head to the space between it and the brick wall. Then, interact with the safe in the hallway to get the Schematic.
Newspaper No. 32138
Mouseburg Herald No. 32138 is on the counter in Betty Deux-Fiddle’s kitchen.
Do You Need All Vaudeville Collectibles?
You don’t have to collect everything in Vaudeville to finish the game. But grabbing the Schematics will help you play better, and finding the Newspapers, Baseball Cards, and Comic Books will count towards 100% completion. If you want to fully complete the game, make sure you collect all of these items before you leave Vaudeville.
