In Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, you get to create and customize your own Mii characters and build the island however you like, then watch the hilarious things that happen. The more Miis you add, the more there is to do! So, you might be wondering just how many Miis the game allows on your island, so you know how far you can expand and customize your world.
How Many Miis Can You Have in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream?
Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream lets you create a maximum of 70 Miis. Once you reach that limit, you won’t be able to make any new ones through the game’s menu. You can check how many Miis you currently have on your island by looking at the bottom of the ‘Add a Mii’ screen – it will show your total compared to the 70-Mii limit.
The game might slow down if you create more than 70 Miis because the Switch 2 has limits to how much it can handle at once. Miis will live their lives independently, so having a large number of them could strain the system. Beyond the technical side, managing so many Miis—checking on them, fulfilling their needs, and keeping them happy—would also become overwhelming for players.
Can You Create More Than 70 Miis in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream?
You can create more than 70 Miis in total, even though only 70 can live on your island at once. If you want to add new Miis, you can remove older ones using the ‘Remove Mii’ option to make space.
To delete a Mii, first choose the one you want to remove. Then, press the X button to bring up the side menu and select ‘Edit Mii’ at the bottom.
To delete a Mii, look for the ‘Remove Mii’ option in the top-right corner of the customization screen. Choose it, and then confirm – your Mii will then leave your island.
So, if I want to get rid of a Mii, there’s a little fee they call ‘moving costs.’ It’s not a big deal, though – especially if I’ve been playing for a while, it’s pretty cheap. It’s not something I’d worry about too much!
