Beerus initially appears to be a very powerful but incredibly lazy god. However, he’s much more than just strong. He proved his intelligence when he fought all the other Gods of Destruction simultaneously, cleverly using traps, diversions, his Destroyer abilities, and even Ultra Instinct to overcome such strong adversaries.
This character demonstrates a level of strategic thinking and combat skill that surpasses any ordinary being. During his fight with Goku in the Battle of Gods arc, he intentionally held back, revealing that his true power is far greater than what he displayed. This highlights an incredible degree of Ki control, exceeding even that of exceptionally strong fighters like Jiren.

It’s no surprise that the Angels are the most powerful, skilled, and intelligent fighters in the entire multiverse. Their countless years of existence, combined with constant training in Ultra Instinct, have given them a level of experience and battle awareness that no other being can match.
Whis perfectly demonstrates this ability, remaining strong and composed even in the most dangerous situations, like when Planet Moro threatened to destroy Earth.
