Okay, so the new Tomodachi Life game, Living the Dream, is seriously popular already! It’s way better than the original, letting you build up your island and shops however you want, and even control how your Mii characters get along. The character creation is a huge step up too – I can finally make exactly who I want. And get this, someone is already recreating all the characters from Fire Emblem: Three Houses in the game! It’s awesome seeing them bring those characters into this wacky life sim.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses Cast Reimagined in Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream
A player named PrimalMXY wowed Twitter with their incredible creations in Tomodachi Life. They meticulously recreated the entire Black Eagles house from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, featuring popular characters like Edelgard, Hubert, and Bernadetta, all dressed in outfits inspired by their later appearances in the game. PrimalMXY also shared their versions of both male and female Byleth, the protagonist of Three Houses, along with the game’s main professors and Monica.
The team behind the impressive Three Houses recreations used many of Living the Dream‘s new features to accurately capture each character’s appearance. PrimalMXY shared that they used the game’s drawing tools to design the clothing and even adjusted small details, like Dorothea’s hairstyle. They also posted a fun screenshot of the characters celebrating Hubert’s birthday with Edelgard and Ferdinand. Currently, it’s unknown if they plan to create characters from the Blue Lions, Golden Deer, or the Ashen Wolves DLC.
The game Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream is known for its extensive character creation tools, and fans have been using them in creative ways. For example, one fan recreated the entire cast of Breaking Bad, including characters from Better Call Saul, as Miis. Others have populated the game with Nintendo favorites, and one dedicated player even designed every starter Pokémon from all ten generations of the franchise. Players can share their created Miis with friends, but this feature only works when playing together locally.

With life simulation games becoming increasingly popular on Nintendo consoles, Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream arrives on the scene. It’s launching just weeks after Pokemon Pokopia, which added a style similar to Animal Crossing to the Pokemon series. Fans are also eager for a new Animal Crossing game for the Nintendo Switch 2, and Nintendo released an updated version, Animal Crossing: New Horizons – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, in January 2026. Living the Dream is a fantastic continuation of the original Tomodachi Life and another great addition to Nintendo’s collection of life simulation games.
