Microsoft recently announced a special edition Xbox Wireless Controller and Headset inspired by the upcoming racing game, Forza Horizon 6. Both are available for pre-order now at the Microsoft Store, and will be released a few weeks before the game itself launches on Xbox and PC.
The newest installment in the popular Forza Horizon racing series, Forza Horizon 6, is set in a reimagined version of Japan. Players will be able to explore a vibrant, stylized Tokyo and the surrounding countryside. This game boasts the largest open-world map in the entire Forza franchise, offering routes that wind through city streets, dense forests, and mountainous terrain. Forza Horizon 6 will be available on Xbox and PC starting Tuesday, May 19th, with a PlayStation 5 version planned for release later in 2026.
Fans Should Check Out the Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition Controller and Headset
Okay, so I just saw the new accessories for Forza Horizon 6 and they look awesome! Microsoft is releasing a limited edition controller and headset, and I immediately went to pre-order them on the Microsoft Store. The controller is $89.99 and the headset is $134.99, and thankfully, shipping is free. They both have this really cool neon vibe with blues, pinks, yellows, and white all over. The controller specifically has pink thumbsticks, blue bumpers and triggers, and the face buttons are all different colors. They even put the Forza Horizon logo on the front and the Horizon Festival logo on the battery cover. And the best part? It comes with batteries, so you don’t have to worry about scrambling to find some right away. I’m definitely grabbing both to complete my setup!
For Xbox and PC gamers, the limited edition Forza Horizon 6 Xbox Wireless Headset is now available. It connects directly to Xbox consoles wirelessly, and to PCs using Bluetooth or a USB-C cable. Like other recent Xbox headsets, it supports spatial sound technologies like Dolby Atmos and Windows Sonic, and recharges with USB-C. If you’re looking for a new headset for your Xbox, the Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition is definitely worth checking out.
The Controller and Headset May Sell Out Fast
The new headset and controller will be released on May 19th, the same day as the game Forza Horizon 6. Because these are special versions of existing Xbox accessories, it’s uncertain how long they’ll stay in stock. Microsoft has confirmed that while pre-orders were exclusive to the Microsoft Store, the Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition accessories will become available at other retailers starting Thursday, May 21st.
