PlayStation Plus subscribers on the Extra and Premium tiers can now download a fresh selection of games, with updates available starting April 21, 2026. These new additions for April 2026 include titles like Football Manager 26 Console, Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, and The Crew Motorfest. Unfortunately, players with only a PlayStation Plus Essential subscription won’t have access to these games.
PlayStation Plus subscribers on Extra and Premium plans have a new update to enjoy! These free games are available to claim until May 5th, and are yours to keep as long as you remain a PlayStation Plus member. If you haven’t already, the free games for April include Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream, Lords of the Fallen, and Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered.

PlayStation Plus continues to expand its game library! On April 21, seven new games were added to the Extra tier and one to the Premium tier. Extra subscribers can now download and play Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, The Crew Motorfest, Football Manager 26 Console, WARRIORS: Abyss, Squirrel with a Gun, The Casting of Frank Stone, and Monster Train. Premium members gain access to the PlayStation 2 classic, Wild Arms 4, through the Premium catalog. Remember, unlike the free monthly Essential games, Extra and Premium titles are only available to play while they remain part of the PlayStation Plus catalog – you can’t keep them forever.
The biggest addition this month is Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, now available for PlayStation 5 players. PlayStation 4 owners can still play Aloy’s story, but they’ll get the Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition instead of the remastered version. This includes bonus digital content and the Frozen Wilds expansion, and is available to PS Plus Extra or Premium subscribers.
Hey everyone, just a heads-up that a few games are leaving PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium on April 21st. I was really enjoying Dave the Diver, so that’s a bummer, but it’s going to be removed along with Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories, EA Sports PGA Tour, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, Spitlings, and TowerFall Ascension. Sony says there’s a chance these games might come back eventually, but if you haven’t tried them yet, you’ll either have to hope for a return or buy them outright. Definitely going to try and squeeze in some more Dave the Diver before it’s gone!

UK PlayStation users who want to enjoy the new PS Plus Extra and Premium games coming in April 2026 will need to verify their age on their PlayStation account. This is due to new UK laws, and Sony is now requiring age verification for all users to access features like messaging and voice chat on both PS4 and PS5. Playing games themselves won’t be affected, and Sony is following the lead of other gaming companies like Valve and Microsoft in implementing this requirement.
