Spiders, a video game studio based in Paris and known for games like GreedFall, Steelrising, and GreedFall: The Dying World, is shutting down after 18 years. The company, owned by Nacon, announced the closure.
So, I was really excited to hear that the DLC for GreedFall: The Dying World is still coming from Nacon, but Spiders has basically said that’ll be the last of it. It sounds like after this DLC, they’re done with new content for the game, which is a little sad to hear as a fan!

Hello everyone,
First off, we apologize for the silence over the past month—it’s been a while.
Let’s get straight to the point: We’ve received confirmation that Spiders is closing down and its assets are being sold off.
What does this mean for the future? Simply put, the company is closing down and will stop operating right away. The previously announced downloadable content will still be released through Nacon, but after that, there will be no further activity.
We’re sad to share this news, but we’re incredibly grateful for all your support over the years.
