The third volume of Jujutsu Kaisen: Modulo, titled “Modulo,” will be released on May 1, 2026. Author Gege Akutami plans to share new details about the story, world, and characters. Early information from the volume has already begun to surface, with Akutami focusing on the characters Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu.

Volume 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo revealed more about Yuka Okkotsu and her incredibly powerful cursed technique, Ten Shadows. This technique, originating from the Zenin clan, allows the summoning of powerful Shikigami, including Mahoraga. So far, three users of Mahoraga have been identified, each with varying levels of strength. Gege Akutami has now confirmed that Yuka Okkotsu is the most powerful of these users.

Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Volume 3 Extra Content Confirms Yuka To Be In Possesion Of The Strongest Mahoraga

Mahoraga is the most powerful technique within the Zenin family’s Ten Shadows Technique. Megumi Fushiguro was the first known user to summon it, unleashing its power during the Shibuya Incident against Haurta. Unfortunately, Megumi couldn’t fully control this incredibly strong ability.

After transferring from Yuji’s body to Megumi’s, Sukuna gained control of the Ten Shadows Technique, including the incredibly powerful Mahoraga. Ultimately, it was through Mahoraga’s abilities that Sukuna could counter Yuji’s Limitless and overcome Satoru Gojo, demonstrating just how strong this technique is.

Both Megumi and Sukuna are powerful users of Mahoraga, but recent revelations in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Volume 3, from creator Gege Akutami and Yuji Iwasaki, confirm that the strongest Mahoraga doesn’t belong to either of them. It’s actually Yuka Okkotsu who possesses the most powerful one.

According to Gege Akutami in Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Volume 3, Megumi, Sukuna, and Yuka’s Mahoraga are initially equally powerful. But, because Yuka’s Mahoraga fought for a longer time, it eventually became the strongest of the three.

Yuka Okkotsu is a key character in Modulo, and she became the new wielder of the Ten Shadows after Megumi. Her fight against Dabura marked a turning point, as it was revealed that all three Mahoraga are fundamentally equal in power. However, because of the prolonged and challenging battle against Dabura, this particular Mahoraga evolved to become stronger than the ones previously used by Sukuna and Megumi.

Okay, so when it comes to Mahoraga, Yuka’s is officially the strongest one we’ve seen – even better than the ones Sukuna and Megumi summoned! But here’s the thing: Sukuna’s still got a unique advantage. He’s the only one who’s ever actually controlled a Mahoraga, truly tamed it and fought alongside it. Yuka and Megumi? They can summon it, sure, but they’re mostly just trying to survive by staying hidden or dodging its attacks. Sukuna actually uses it as a weapon, which is a huge difference!

Yuka and Megumi weren’t lacking in strength; the challenge came from the Ten-Shadow technique itself. It relies on using less powerful Shikigami to overcome a foe like Mahoraga, who can adapt to any attack.
