Queen Bismuth Crab Location & Boss Guide in Crimson Desert

The Queen Bismuth Crab appears vulnerable because it’s slow and a large target, but simply stunning it won’t defeat it. You need to understand what types of attacks actually harm it to avoid wasting time and effort.

The Queen Bismuth Crab is surprisingly easy to defeat. You can simply climb onto its back and use the ‘cling’ ability to repeatedly stab it with your dagger – it’s almost like bursting blisters. This boss is quite weak, and following the instructions below will make the fight very straightforward.

Where to Find the Queen Bismuth Crab in Crimson Desert (Radiant Crystal Quest Walkthrough)

  • You can find the Queen Bismuth Crab in the Valley of Grief within the Crimson Desert region, south of the “F” in “Forebearer’s Barrens” on the map.
  • The Queen Bismuth Crab will only spawn once you have “The Oreback Crab in the Desert” Faction Quest, which is found under the “Sage of the Desert” tab in the Crimson Desert.
  • We managed to get this Faction Quest to pop in once we completed “War Song of the Dusk” and other Crimson Desert-specific Faction Quests (we have an easy one for you right here that might help).

You can head straight into this boss fight without any setup. Just be prepared with some healing items in case you take damage, and make sure you have a weapon!

How to Beat the Queen Bismuth Crab in Crimson Desert

  • To damage the Queen Bismuth Crab, you need to first jump onto its back. You can either do this by using Jump + Triple Force Palm to climb the crab, or you can attack its legs to force it to be temporarily immobilized.
  • Once you’re on the Queen Bismuth Crab, you will need to destroy the crystal dirt mounds (shown above).
  • These destroyed patches will reveal white cracks in the Queen Bismuth Crab’s back that you can destroy.
  • In order to actually destroy them, you need to press L3 to cling to the back, then R2 to pierce your dagger through it.
  • This essentially pops the cyst, and deals over half damage to the Queen Bismuth Crab, and you can repeat this until the blue health bar is replaced by a red one.
  • Once the Queen Bismuth Crab is on its red health bar, you just need to return to the back and focus your attacks on the ceramic pot.
  • After just a few brief hits, the pots will break, and the Queen Bismuth Crab will instantly die.
  • This boss will reward a wealth of Bismuth Ore and other materials worth taking.
