To unlock all the endings in the game NTE, you’ll need to find clues on each floor of the Nameless Hospital and place them in the camera room on the second floor. The first floor holds the clues for the first ending, the second floor for the second, and the third floor for the third. Getting the fourth ending is trickier, requiring a deeper understanding of the hospital’s backstory.
All Nameless Hospital Endings In NTE
To unlock all four endings in Nameless Hospital, you need to complete the nightmare four times. As you play, you’ll learn how to aim for a specific ending each time. I discovered a fast method for finding the clues needed for each ending, which means you won’t have to solve many of the hospital’s puzzles – for instance, you can skip turning on the generator. But don’t worry, I’ll still explain how to activate the generator at the end of this guide.
Here’s how to get every Nameless Hospital ending in NTE:
- Nameless Hospital Ending 1: Collect three Anomaly Disorder clues.
- Nameless Hospital Ending 2: Collect three Surveillance Record clues.
- Nameless Hospital Ending 3: Collect three Anomaly Experiment clues.
- Nameless Hospital Ending 4: Collect one hidden clue and two specific Anomaly Experiment clues.
Nameless Hospital Ending 1
It’s quite simple to unlock the first ending in Nameless Hospital: you just need to find three clues related to Anomaly Disorder. The first clue is right there on the desk in front of you when the game begins.
Get out of the room, and keep following the corridor.
Do not enter any room, and follow the corridor to the right side.
On the first floor lobby, you’ll find the key to access the first floor of Nameless Hospital. It’s called “Keychain: 1F” and is labeled as the NTE key.
From there, go to the end of the lobby.
You’ll find a door on the corner.
Inside, you can get the second Anomaly Disorder clue in Neverness to Everness.
Now, head back to the lobby and go through the corridor again.
This time, keep moving forward until you reach the first door after a corner.
Go through the door and into the hospital to find the third clue for the Anomaly Disorder. Watch out, because once you grab it, a mummy-like monster will appear and chase you. You can’t hurt it, and if it catches you, you’ll be sent back to the beginning. It’s more frustrating than scary, as you’ll have to retrace your steps to where you were caught.
Don’t return to the previous room. Please proceed to the next room and exit into the adjacent lobby.
Follow that lobby to the end without going into any room on the right side.
You’ll eventually reach a room at the end of the corridor, with a door on its left side.
Head into the next room to find a yellow screen – it contains the fourth clue for the Anomaly Disorder. This is an extra clue in case you haven’t found the previous ones during your time at the Nameless Hospital.
Continue moving to the next room to find a room with a blocked door and a cabinet to its right.
There, you can find the key to the second floor, called Spare Key: 1F.
Remove the trash blockage, then leave the room to find the gate that leads to the second floor.
Go up the stairs to get to the main lobby on the second floor. Once you’re there, look behind the front desk to find the room with the three cameras.
You need to approach the cameras and insert the Anomaly Disorder clues you collected.
Once you’ve positioned all the clues, you’ll unlock Ending 1 and complete your first playthrough of Nameless Hospital in NTE.
Nameless Hospital Ending 2
Whenever you revisit the terrifying Nameless Hospital, you’ll automatically begin with a Staff Elevator Card – the item required to use the elevator.
Okay, so if you want to unlock the second ending in Nameless Hospital, here’s what I figured out: just leave the starting room and then chase after the monster – go into the room it went into. That’s it!
It’s the room in front of the elevator.
You’ll find the first clue for the Surveillance Record at a small desk located at the end of the room in this section of the Nameless Hospital.
You can keep exploring and learn things like how to start the generator at the Nameless Hospital. But, based on what I’ve found, going straight back to the elevator and up to the second floor is a quicker path to unlocking Nameless Hospital Ending 2.
From the second floor’s main lobby, head to the corridor at its end.
Before you reach the lobby, a bunch of monsters will spawn.
I’ve explored Nameless Hospital many times and discovered that two different kinds of monsters appear there. The type of monster that spawns determines what the second floor is like. If you see werewolf-like monsters, the second floor’s rooms will change depending on whether the lights are on or off, making it crucial to turn on the generator. However, if floating creatures appear, the entire second floor will flood, and some locked doors will automatically open.
You’ll always unlock Ending 2 for the Nameless Hospital, regardless of your choices on the second floor. Once you’ve beaten the monsters, simply proceed to the end of the hallway.
Go left, targeting the first room after the bathroom.
You can find its door right after the bathroom, on the same wall.
Go inside, and you’ll find the second Surveillance Record clue in NTE.
Continue down the hallway, staying on the same side, until you reach the generator room on the second floor.
Inside, on the wall, you can spot the third and last Surveillance Record clue.
You’ve collected all three Surveillance Record clues, so you can now finish the second run of the Nameless Hospital in NTE.
Head back to the cameras’ room and insert all three Surveillance Record clues.
This will complete this Nameless Hospital run, and you’ll get to see the cutscene for Ending 2.
Nameless Hospital Ending 3
To get the third Nameless Hospital ending, immediately go to the third floor from the elevator.
When you get to the third floor of Nameless Hospital, you’ll see two locked gates blocking your path. Don’t worry, the keys are right next to each gate! Head for the door on the right side first. You’ll find a clock close by, and the key is hidden inside it.
Open the door, and move to the right side to open a new room.
You’ll need to find a key hidden in the lockers at the front of the room before time runs out, otherwise you’ll be kicked out.
Take the key and head out to the door on the other side.
Open the door to get into a corridor. Take your right to find another room immediately after.
This room includes a timer that triggers strange events while you’re inside. Search the far side of the room for a file containing the first clue to the Anomaly Experiment, labeled NTE.
Okay, so you need to leave this room by going through a doorway on the opposite side. That leads you to a new room, but the exit there is blocked! You’ll have to break down whatever’s blocking the door, and then you’ll see another door right in front of the one you just came through.
Inside that Nameless Hospital room, some monsters will spawn.
Defeat them and investigate the second Nameless Hospital Anomaly Experiment clue.
Return to the elevator hallway and unlock the second gate. The key is in a container located right beside it.
Head inside and open the door on your right.
It will lead to a blocked corridor, with two rooms on each side. Enter the one on your right.
You can find the third Anomaly Experiment clue inside.
That covers the three Anomaly Experiment clues found in NTE, which should be all you need to finish the Nameless Hospital run.
Head back to the elevator and go to the second floor.
Enter the cameras’ room and insert all three Anomaly Experiment clues in NTE.
This will give you ending 3, and you’ll complete the Nameless Hospital run for the third time.
Nameless Hospital Ending 4
The first three endings are fairly straightforward, but the last one is much more challenging, demanding extensive reading and investigation of the clues. I’ll do my best to simplify things with this guide to the Nameless Hospital.
First and foremost, you need either the main character or Nanally in the team.
To begin the final run of Nameless Hospital, go directly to the elevator and ride it up to the second floor.
From there, follow the corridor after the main lobby area.
Keep going forward until the end of the corridor.
Take your left to target the room after the bathroom.
Again, it’s the room on the same wall.
Inside this area, you’ll see a board on the right wall. Whether it’s visible or hidden depends on how the monsters were generated before you entered the corridor.
If you receive the flooded version, it will be immediately noticeable. However, if you get the light-sensitive version, you’ll need to flip the switch by the door to turn off the light, which will then make the board visible.
Now, approach the board and interact with it to get the keys, called Keychain: 2F.
Return to the beginning of the hallway and locate the door that’s currently blocked. You can get into that room by going through the room next to it – just use the key you recently obtained.
If the area floods, you can go directly to this room because it doesn’t require a key to enter.
Inside that room, you can find a giant hole in the wall that leads to the previous blocked room.
Things get tricky here. I’ve tried many times to get to the room above, because it holds the biggest secret of the Nameless Hospital. But I could only reach it by exploiting a glitch. You can do this too by finding something for your character to stand on to gain extra height.
From that high point, use their Skill and wait until they launch themselves in midair.
As soon as they appear, quickly switch to a different character and try to reach the ground by jumping twice in the air. This can only be achieved with the primary character or by using Nanally’s ability to create zero gravity.
Once you’re in the upper room, open the central sealed canister to find the Jigsaw – a crucial item for escaping the Nameless Hospital. After you get it, the only remaining task there is to open the safe in the NTE area. Then, head back down to the second floor and take the elevator up to the third floor.
On the third floor, from the elevator, target the gate on the left side.
Enter the room and open the door to the right.
Go to the room on the right side.
Inside that room, you’ll find another Jigsaw that you need.
Go back to the previous room and insert both Jigsaws on the middle table.
That will spawn some monsters and create new doors and corridors.
Enter the small room through the back door. Inside, you’ll find sealed canisters. Then, go through the wall on the right – inserting the Jigsaw will have opened a hidden room.
Head to the desk and read the note you find. It’s important to read it four times, because both the note and the room will transform with each reading.
Once you’ve looked at the note four times, you’ll receive the clue ‘V???’s Note. This is the first step towards unlocking one of the endings in the game NTE, specifically the fourth Nameless Hospital ending.
Now go back to the corridor where you found your second Jigsaw and move forward until the end.
Just before reaching the end, you can find a door on the right side, at the start of the corner.
To get the third clue for the Anomaly Experiment – the one you need to finish the Nameless Hospital – you’ll need to examine the files on the desk.
Right after you leave the room, enter the room in front of it.
At the far end of the room, you’ll find Mysty, a strange object that can change shape. Talk to it and ask it to accompany you out of the room and into the hallway.
Go to the left after leaving the room and keep following the corridor.
Take a right turn and keep moving forward.
Just before going full circle, you can find a room there.
Enter it and interact with the last canister to switch Mysty into Jigsaw.
Go back to the middle table and insert it to add a door that leads to the last clue.
Go through the same corridor you came from, making sure you reach the end of it.
You’ll discover a new door in the wall, linking the two sections of the third floor.
Okay, so I figured out you need to head over to the light switch right in the middle of the room. Then, you’ve gotta do this specific sequence of things with it to open a secret room – it’s kinda like a puzzle!
- Press the switch twice quickly.
- Press once, wait one second.
- Press once, wait one second.
- Press once, wait one second.
- Press once, wait one second.
- Press the switch twice quickly.
Solving the switch puzzle reveals a secret room with the last clue – Anomaly Experiment VI – needed to unlock ending 4 for Nameless Hospital in NTE.
Now, go back to the cameras’ room, on the second floor.
Insert the clues to complete the fourth Nameless Hospital ending in NTE.
How To Activate The Nameless Hospital Generator In NTE
Okay, so I figured out how to get the generator going in the Nameless Hospital in NTE. You gotta hit them in a specific order. First, I activated the generator in the very back, right in the middle. Then, I hit the one that’s directly in front of that one. After that, I targeted the generator way at the end of the room, and then I flipped the switch on the last one, the one closest to the door. That’s the sequence that worked for me!
