All Anvil Hill Mysterious Energy Puzzles in Crimson Desert

The Anvil Hill area in Crimson Desert, east of Hernand, has three Mysterious Energy puzzles, and some can be hard to figure out. If you’re having trouble activating them, here’s how to solve them.

All Anvil Hill Mysterious Energy Puzzles in Crimson Desert

In Crimson Desert, you can find three locations with Anvil Hill Mysterious Energy. Two are close together on top of the hill, and a third is situated on a steep cliff to the southwest.

  • Anvil Hill Mysterious Energy #1: Climb on top of the large cliff southwest of Anvil Hill and activate the Abyss Cresset while avoiding the poisonous grass.
  • Anvil Hill Mysterious Energy #2: Drop down into the hole in the wall right next to the Wild Raiders Camp and activate the Abyss Cresset at the end of the tunnel.
  • Anvil Hill Mysterious Energy #3: Drop down into the hole in the ground in the middle of the crater and activate the Abyss Nexus in the cavern.

Anvil Hill Mysterious Energy #1

  1. Head to the location marked on the map above, and you’ll find a large sheer cliff with some Bismuth nodes on its surface.
  2. Climb to the top of the cliff, and you’ll find an Abyss Cresset in an open field.
  3. Approach the Abyss Cresset while avoiding the purple stalks of grass and activate it to obtain an Abyss Artifact and to complete the Anvil Hill Mysterious Energy puzzle #1.

If you’re killed by poisonous plants, don’t use Palmer Pills to come back to life. The grass around the plants will immediately kill you again. Instead, go back to the Checkpoint to respawn and try again.

Anvil Hill Mysterious Energy #2

  1. Head to the location marked on the map above, and you’ll find the Wild Raiders Camp occupied by a large number of hostile enemies.
  2. Defeat the enemies (or avoid them), and enter the hole in the side of the cliff to enter a narrow tunnel.
  3. Activate the Abyss Cresset at the end of the tunnel to obtain an Abyss Artifact, which will complete the Anvil Hill Mysterious Energy puzzle #2.

Anvil Hill Mysterious Energy #3

  1. Head to the center of the Mysterious Energy icon to find a large impact crater.
  2. Drop down into the hole in the middle of the crater, and you’ll reach an underground cavern filled with Bloodstone ore deposits, called the Anvil Hill Stoneback Crab Cave.
  3. Activate the Abyss Nexus at the end of this cavern to complete the Anvil Hill Mysterious Energy puzzle #3.

To the right of the Abyss Nexus, you’ll find a Palmer Pill. A small treasure chest is hidden behind the pillars on the left.

To escape the Anvil Hill Stoneback Crab Cave, go back to the area where you first climbed down, close to the Bloodstone ore. Step onto the stone pillar there, then jump and use Force Palm three times while in the air to reach the exit.
