Totenreich features a small, spooky fishing village overrun by the undead, so naturally, fishing is a key activity! You’ll find fishing rods scattered throughout the area, giving you access to 11 different spots where you can try your luck – you might catch a fish, or even a zombie!
Here’s a complete guide to all the fishing spots in Totenreich! We’ll show you where to find every location, including how to catch the rare green fish and irradiated ravager needed for the main quest. Use the map and instructions below to make sure you don’t miss a thing!
If you’re in need of a Fishing Rod, you can find them across the entire map in barrels and within huts. They’re easy to spot due to their white outline, and just by interacting with one, you can add it to your inventory.
All Fishing Spots in Totenreich
The map shows 11 great places to fish, marked with red dots. We’ll give you more details and pictures below to help you find each spot.
Eidskallen Landing
- Eidskallen Landing has two fishing spots:
- The first can be found when facing west on the dock, looking out to the giant robot’s claw hand, just after the Coda 9 Wall-Buy.
- The second can be found to the left of Coda 9 Wall-Buythe Ammo Crate, when facing the Lighthouse from the bottom left pier.
Eidskallen Square
- Eidskallen Square also has two fishing spots:
- The first is in the western area of Eidskallen Square, by the shore zipline when facing Fishery Island and Dry Dock.
- The second is to the right of the Mystery Box and beside the zipline when facing towards the Lighthouse.
Fishery Island
- There are two additional fishing spots on Fishery Island:
- The first is in the north area above Pack-a-Punch, when facing Storm Bridge.
- The second is in the eastern area when looking back to Eidskallen Square.
Beacon Island
- Beacon Island has two more fishing spots:
- The first can be found in the east, by the Flak Gun.
- The second can be found to the south, by the Flak Gun.
Dry Dock
- Dry Dock has just a single fishing spot, and it’s located directly above PhD Flopper, so head upstairs and face Fishery Island.
Tyr’s Foot
- There’s one fishing spot in the Tyr’s Foot area, and it’s located to the right of the Warden 308 Wall-Buy, when facing Fishery Island.
Tyr’s Shoulder
- There’s just one fishing spot by Tyr’s Shoulder, and it can be found southwest when facing towards Fishery Island.
How to Go Fishing in Totenreich
Okay, so when I’m ready to fish, I just grab my rod and click on one of those red holders to set it up. Then, I gotta be patient! I just watch the rod, and when it glows blue – like in the picture – that’s my cue! I click on the glowing rod again, and it pulls in some goodies for me. Pretty simple!
We’ve found that fishing can reward you with useful items like boots (that transform into zombie enemies!), armor plates, self-revive kits, and sometimes materials to upgrade your weapons. You can fish at each spot once per round, and we definitely recommend taking advantage of this for extra loot!
How to Get the Green Fish (Irradiated Ravager) in Totenreich
During the Totenreich Main Quest, you’ll need to find Uranium. To get it, check the fishing spots we talked about earlier for a green fish – it will leap out of the water when you find it.
Keep an eye on all 11 spots for a green fish. If you don’t see one jump out of the water at a location, move on to the next. When you find the green fish, click on the fishing line to reel it in—it will transform into an immune ravager.
In the next round, a powerful enemy called the ravager will appear. You’ll have to chase it around the map, dealing damage. Every time you reduce its health by a third, it will teleport to a new location. You’ll need to find and damage it three times in total to defeat it and claim the Uranium.
I was totally stuck on the Totenreich Main Quest Easter Egg, but thankfully someone put together a complete guide! You can find it right here if you’re struggling too – it really helped me out!
