The simulator provides a true-to-life farming experience, requiring players to attend to every tiny detail, such as adding lime to their fields and controlling the growth of weeds.

Cultivating the farmlands is a crucial task that all players must carry out as their crops develop. Timely and correct cultivation ensures higher crop production and increased profits for the players.

When to Roll a Field in Farming Simulator 25

Although rolling can be done at any stage of the crop-growing process, it is best advised to do it just after seeding. The “Need Rolling” warning will indicate which fields require rolling.

To check if a field needs to be rolled, navigate to the map and choose the ‘Soil Composition’ menu. Then, pick the “Rolling Required” option. Fields that necessitate rolling will then be highlighted in a sky blue color.

But, if you find that rolling your fields is becoming a pain, you may turn off the Fieldstones feature in the game’s options to stop rolling your fields. To disable the fieldstones, select Game Settings>Crops and Growth>Fieldstone Off.

In Farming Simulator 25, to cultivate your fields, you’ll first need to acquire Rollers. These rollers should be affixed to your tractors, after which they can be utilized on your fields. To procure the essential equipment, here’s a simple step-by-step guide:

  1. Press P on your keyboard to access the Shop, and go to the Vehicles menu.
  2. Scroll down to the Yield Improvements tab and go to the Rollers category.
  3. As of writing this guide, two rollers are available in the game; you can choose whichever suits your budget and requirements. The Rexius 1230 is a good choice for beginners since it is compatible with beginner tractors.
  4. Once you have bought the roller, drive one of your tractors to the shop, attach the roller, and drive back to your farm.

With everything ready at hand, it’s time for you to initiate the process of rolling your fields. Navigate the roller towards the desired field, then hit ‘X’ to extend it. After extension, move the roller across your field and commence the soil-rolling operation.
