As someone who has spent countless hours exploring the hidden corners of ancient temples and deciphering cryptic inscriptions, I can confidently say that the Elephant in the Room mystery in Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is one of the most intriguing puzzles I’ve encountered.
In the Sukhothai region depicted in “Indiana Jones and The Great Circle“, there are numerous dilapidated structures and concealed temples brimming with secrets subtly embedded within them. Among these temples, players stumble upon one situated close to Voss’ Camp, which carries its own enigma – a riddle that can be resolved by locating the three Elephant Statuettes and arranging them accurately beneath the Buddhist sanctuary. Solving this puzzle is no easy feat; it may take several attempts from multiple players before it’s finally deciphered.
How to Solve the Elephant in the Room Mystery in Sukhothai
As they explore Voss’ Camp and venture left towards a Buddhist temple in the Sukhothai region within Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, players will encounter the Elephant in the Room mystery. Upon entering the temple, you’ll find an image of Buddha that requires a photograph using your camera. This action initiates the mystery, causing three elephant statuettes to appear within secret compartments beneath the Buddha statue.
Finding the First Two Elephant Statuettes
The first thing you must do is find the first two Elephant Statuettes.
- The first one can be found inside the compartment on the right wall.
- The second one can be found on the left wall, accessible by burning the boarded-up compartment.
Once you have obtained both Elephant Figurines, put one in the first compartment beneath the shrine, which will reveal a concealed area on the right wall. Then, place the second figurine within the newly exposed section of the right wall.
Locating the Third Elephant Statuette
After setting the elephant figurine in the appropriate niche on the right-hand side, you’ll find the hidden compartment on the left side of the shrine will automatically open. Gently take the figurine from its spot and carefully transfer it to the newly unveiled compartment on the left.
In this concealed chamber to the side of the shrine, go inside and grab the Sukhothai Relics book resting on the table. To access the upper level, use the bullwhip to ascend the wall at the room’s entrance, then swing across to reach it. There, you can collect the third Elephant Statuette.
Placing All Three Elephant Statuettes in Hidden Compartments
To correctly arrange them, please insert each of the three Elephant Statuettes into their respective slots beneath the shrine in this sequence: first one, then the second, and finally the third statuette.
- Since you’ve grabbed the third Elephant Statuette, place it in the first compartment under the statue to reopen the wall compartment on the right.
- Pick up the statuette from the right wall compartment, go into the hidden room, and place it in the wall pressure plate to open up the middle compartment under the shrine.
- Pick up the statuette from the first compartment under the shrine and insert it inside the middle compartment that’s just opened up.
- Finally, pick up the statuette inside the hidden room’s pressure place and place it on the pressure place in the first compartment under the shrine.
By following the instructions provided, you’ll unveil the concealed room to your right, revealing an elephant skeleton. Snapping a picture of this skeleton will solve the “Elephant in the Room” mystery within Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, granting you 250 adventure points.
