As a seasoned Call of Duty: Black Ops fanatic who has braved countless Zombie apocalypses, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Jingle Hells LTM in BO6 Zombies! The holiday-themed content is always a delightful treat, and the return of this festive mode is just the icing on the cake.
It appears that CODMAS is poised to assume control imminently, as an abundance of holiday-themed content is about to be introduced in Black Ops 6. This collection includes the Jingle Hells limited time mode (LTM) for Zombies, transforming Liberty Falls into a festive wonderland with a Christmas facelift.
The game BO6 Zombies continues to offer a consistent flow of content, with the standout addition being the latest map, Citadelle des Morts. To maintain this momentum, the popular Limited Time Mode Jingle Hells is coming back and will bring holiday spirit to the Zombies experience once more.
If you’re curious about the specifics of this game mode, let me fill you in on the details for Black Ops 6 Zombies’ Jingle Hells Limited Time Mode (LTM).
BO6 Zombies Jingle Hells LTM release date
On Tuesday, December 17, the Jingle Hells Limited Time Mode makes its debut in Black Ops 6 at 10 AM Pacific Time, 7 PM British Summer Time, or 1 PM Eastern Time. The duration of this game mode is yet to be specified.
Jingle Hells LTM explained
In a festive twist on the original Zombies gameplay, Jingle Hells LTM transforms Liberty Falls map with holiday elements such as wreaths, ribbons, trees adorned with twinkling lights, and a light dusting of snow. The river near the town is frozen over, adding to the visual alterations.
In terms of gameplay, this mode lacks Mystery Boxes, Crafting Tables, and the Arsenal Machine. However, you can still finish the Liberty Falls main quest for an added challenge. The rewards will be the usual ones since these extra items are not available here. Here are some unique aspects of this mode:
- Festive audio: Bespoke holiday-themed sounds have been crafted for the LTM, further selling the festive vibes.
- New GobbleGum: A brand-new ‘Holiday Cheer’ GobbleGum has been added to the mode. After using it, zombies will don festive clothing such as Santa hats and Christmas outfits.
- Snowball Piles: Players can collect up to five snowballs from piles scattered around the map and use them as throwable projectiles.
- Naughty or Nice Power Up: The Power Up is shaped like a large stocking and it’ll throw out either presents or spawn Vermin depending on whether you’ve been naughty or nice.
- Hostile Snowmen: Several Snowmen are dotted around the map but they’re far from jolly. Destroy them to reveal what they’re hiding, which can range from present to sneaky zombies.
- Present Boxes: Zombies have a small chance of dropping a present after being killed. Open them to reveal a festive gift.
- S.A.M.T.A. Trials: Trial Machines have also undergone a holiday makeover and you may find additional presents near them.
- Frozen Rounds: It’s undeniably chilly in Liberty Falls and during some rounds the cold will take over, slowing your reaction and movement speed significantly. When caught in this situation, the best course of action might be to head indoors.
Even though the chill in the air is intense, don’t assume that the undead will show mercy. Be prepared with top-notch Pack-a-Punch firearms and optimal class configurations when tackling Black Ops 6 Zombies.
