As a seasoned gamer with countless hours logged into action-packed titles, I can hardly contain my excitement for the latest update to Kill Knight – the KRYSTALIZED UPDATE! The developer’s promise of enhanced combat, new weapons, and features has me itching to descend once more into the Abyssal Keep.
PlaySide Studios unveiled a substantial upgrade titled “The KRYSTALIZED UPDATE” for their game Kill Knight, available now on Steam.
The developer announces: “Our update comes before the Steam Winter Sale, starting from December 19th until January 2nd. During this period, KILL KNIGHT will be discounted by 33%. This makes it an excellent time to join the action!

As a gamer, I’m thrilled about this update! We’ve got an enhanced SEVER Mode, a fresh WEEKLY DESCENT Mode, and a DEMON BESTIARY KODEX added. Whether you’re a veteran player or just starting out, there’s something for everyone here. The lowest difficulty level (Regret) has been slightly adjusted to make it more approachable for newcomers.
Here’s the new equipment:
- INCULCATORS (Pistol): Fires puncturing shards that spike into enemies.
- DREADFALLER (Heavy Weapon): A laser caster that emits combusting plasma beams and ruptures foes.
- HOLLOWBRANDT (Sword): Utilises powerful jumping slam attacks that convert kills into empowered heavy weapon shots.
- UMBRARITE (Armor): Spawns a vengeful Shade to assist in combat.
The expanded augments:
- METICULOUS AZURITE: Restores heavy ammo when firing Wrath Bursts.
- ABYSSAL FLOURITE: Pulls in Health Shards when Quick Absorbing.

- New WEEKLY DESCENT Mode: Compete in randomized weekly challenges, featuring rotating equipment and layers. Leaderboards refresh weekly for ultimate bragging rights.
