According to Deadline’s report, this is the third horror movie for both Monroe and Neon. Among her other horror or thriller movies are “Greta” and “Tau.” However, it’s clear that Monroe is most recognized for her role in “It Follows,” which hit theaters in 2014. In this film, she played Jay Height, a college student who gets cursed after sleeping with her boyfriend. The movie follows Jay as she now sees a mysterious entity everywhere and struggles to stop it.

Chloe Okuno, who has collaborated with Monroe before and directed “Watcher,” will pen and direct “Brides.” The story revolves around Sally Bishop (portrayed by Monroe), who embarks on a vacation with her husband to an Italian villa. However, trouble arises when a count, suspected to be malevolent, becomes fixated on Sally. Similar to “Watcher,” Monroe’s character in “Brides” is married and navigates a frightening, peculiar predicament.
