Other Ways To Increase Friendship

Quests

Similar to other townsfolk, Clint might put up a notice on the Help Wanted board near Pierre’s. He could request a specific number of monsters to be killed, resources to be collected, or a random item to be delivered to him. Completing any of these tasks will earn you +150 friendship.

On the sixth day of Winter, Clint writes to the player requesting they deliver an amethyst as a present from him to Emily. However, it’s worth noting that Emily misinterprets the player’s intentions; the friendship with her will grow, not with the blacksmith himself. Then, on the seventeenth day of Winter, Clint asks for an Iron Bar in another letter. Achieving this goal rewards the player with 1 friendship heart.

Heart Events

In three hearts or more, visit the Stardrop Saloon on Mondays from 7 to 11 pm. On these evenings, you’ll find Clint in a melancholic mood due to his misfortunes with romantic relationships. You can offer him advice from four possible options.

  • “Just act natural…be yourself.” This choice neither increases or decreases friendship.
  • “Act crazy, to keep people guessing.” +25 friendship points.
  • “Impress women with your strength and charm.” +25 friendship points.
  • “Treat women the same as men.” This is the best option, with +50 friendship points.

Movie Theater

When the Missing Package is finished and the cinema becomes accessible, players can join Clint for a film outing by providing him with a ticket. However, be aware that Clint dislikes The Zuzu City Express movie. His preferred snacks at the concession stand are Fries and Stardrop Sorbet.

Friendship Perks

Just like other residents of Pelican Town, Clint shares some of his personal recipes with the player when they build up a certain degree of friendship with him.

  • Algae Soup: Sent at three hearts. This dish provides the player with minor energy and health restoration, using cheap ingredients.
