In a private conversation with The Direct, the creator of the popular Netflix animated series, Arcane, confirmed that the show would conclude after Season 2 but hinted at upcoming spin-offs focusing on individual character stories, rather than a full Season 3. He and his team have already identified certain characters for these standalone shows. The creator expressed enthusiasm about continuing to explore these characters’ tales, stating, “Arcane is just the beginning. Linke stated, “This is the narrative we envisioned and wanted to share. It would be unfair to stretch it so far that we can’t do it justice anymore. I believe that was a crucial factor in our decision. ‘We don’t want to overdo it,'” he concluded.
