Consoles are convenient, but PC gaming consistently offers better deals. While Steam is popular, the PC market has many stores competing with each other, which means frequent sales and discounts. Right now, even though there aren’t a ton of sales happening, a couple of fantastic, recent games are at their lowest prices ever on PC, but these prices won’t last long.
Just like we did in May 2026, we need to regularly check Steam, the Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, GreenManGaming, GOG, and about a dozen other websites to find the best deals. It’s impossible to track everything, but I’ve found a few current sales worth highlighting.
Expiration dates for games with listed dates will appear under the title. While these games may have been available for less on other systems, they’re currently at their lowest price on PC.

I decided to leave out Star Wars games this time, but Steam is having a big Star Wars sale that runs until May 7th.
$31 For Intense Soulslike Action Courtesy Of The First Berserker: Khazan
Ends On May 7 @ 5 PM PDT
- Store Link: GameBillet
- Activation key for Steam
- Deluxe Edition is $36.13
- Also, $31.67 on GamesPlanet and $35.99 on IndieGala Store (both end at the same time as GameBillet deal)
- Steam rating: 93%
Let’s be real, it feels like every action RPG these days is trying to be a Soulslike, and honestly, I’m starting to get a little tired of it. But here’s the thing – most of them are actually pretty good! And The First Berserker: Khazan? It’s easily one of the best I’ve played in a while, especially when it comes to fighting. This game is hard – even for a genre known for being brutal! It really focuses on its combat, and you need to be aggressive but controlled, and really get the hang of dodging and blocking perfectly. So many of these mid-level Soulslikes feel clunky, but Khazan is super polished and smooth – it just feels great to play.
While Khazan might not have the most impressive level design or world compared to games like AI Limit or Wuchang, it delivers incredibly satisfying and exciting gameplay. Instead of the slow, careful approach common in this type of game, Khazan emphasizes fast-paced, brutal combat.
Devil May Cry 5 + Vergil Is A Steal at $4.50 (Or, Even Better, $4.05)
Ends On May 7 @ 3 PM PDT
- Store Link: GamersGate
- Activation key for Steam
- Use “ITAD” to reduce the price to $4.05 (Credit to IsThereAnyDeal)
- Cheaper than a Grande Decaf Roast, one of Starbucks’s cheapest drinks
- Steam rating: 95%
- Useless fact: One of my favorite games
Most Devil May Cry games are known for their excellent, fast-paced combat, with Devil May Cry 5 often considered the best in the series – and one of the best action games ever made. While the original Devil May Cry and DMC 3 are also fantastic, Devil May Cry 5 really stands out. Capcom took a big risk by letting players control three different characters, each with unique fighting styles – any two of them could have been enough to make a great game. But they didn’t stop there; they later added Vergil as a playable character for the entire story, giving players even more options.
Devil May Cry 5 remains a great value at $60, offering tons of replayability thanks to its deep and challenging combat, multiple difficulty settings, and the Blood Palace mode. The game is easy to pick up and enjoy immediately, but truly mastering it requires dedication and multiple playthroughs. While the levels can become a little repetitive, especially in the latter half of the game, that’s really the only significant drawback.
You can currently get DMC – Devil May Cry for just $4.05 with ITAD, which is a surprisingly low price. I thought I remembered seeing it even cheaper before, but this is a great deal.
Less Than $10 Fare To Go On A Unique Pacific Drive
Ends On May 7 @ 9 AM PDT
- Store Link: Steam
- Cheaper on GameBillet as it is $9.85 until May 6 @ 10 AM PDT. However, I went with the Steam sale since it will be around for a bit longer. Activation key for Steam as well.
- Part of Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, PC, and Console
- Part of PS Plus Extra
- Steam rating: 82%
Look, I see why people are hesitant to call a game with an 82% Steam rating a perfect 10. I totally get it! But for me, Pacific Drive is just so different, it has the potential to be a truly memorable experience, even if it’s not for everyone. It’s a survival game, but instead of building a base, you’re fixing up your car – and that car is your base, your safe haven in this really creepy, otherworldly place filled with strange creatures. It’s just… different, and I think that’s a good thing.
As you spend more time in the game, things start to get weird with your car. It’s like the strange happenings in the Zone actually affect it, causing reactions that just don’t make sense – almost like it’s haunted! The gameplay loop is all about venturing into this dangerous area, grabbing what you need, and then racing back to your base before a massive storm hits. It’s really cool because there’s no fighting, but the exploration is incredibly immersive and constantly keeps you on edge. It’s genuinely unsettling!
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is Absurd Value at $17.49 (PC and Xbox!)
No Expiration Date Listed On The Microsoft Store, So Act Fast If You Want This One
- Store Link: Microsoft Store
- Supports Xbox Play Anywhere: Works On PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S
- Part of Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, PC, and Console
- Part of PS Plus Extra
- Lasts more than 50 hours (and that’s a quick playthrough)
- Steam rating: 91%
While each game in the Like a Dragon/Yakuza series has its ups and downs, you can always expect a good story. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth really raises the bar, offering the longest campaign in the series and taking the action outside of Japan for the first time. Ichiban and Kiryu explore a beautifully recreated Honolulu, Hawaii, and the setting is a major highlight. But the game excels in almost every other aspect as well.
Building on lessons learned from previous games, the turn-based combat in Infinite Wealth is now among the best you’ll find in modern Japanese role-playing games – it’s no longer just a loving nod to the classics. The story is full of emotional moments and features a villain that players might have strong opinions about. And the game really delivers with its optional content, including compelling side stories and fun mini-games. In fact, the Dondoko Island section is so well-developed, it could have been released as a full game on its own!
A Short Hike Is Indie Perfection And Just $3.99
Ends On May 9 @ 9 AM PDT
- Store Link: Steam
- The definition of short and sweet
- Steam rating: 99% (Yes, really! An incredible average score)
Compared to sprawling open-world games, A Short Hike is wonderfully concise and nearly flawless. The game’s title hints at its relaxing, peaceful atmosphere, and it delivers on that promise. You play as Claire, a bird who’s visiting a mountain park but feeling disconnected. She needs to reach the peak to get cell service, and the game lets you explore and climb at your own pace.
I absolutely loved how A Short Hike lets you play things your way. You could just race to the top to collect the Golden Feathers, but honestly, you’d be missing out on so much! The park is full of fun little things to do and really sweet characters to chat with. I spent about four hours exploring, but it could easily take longer – and that’s a good thing! Every minute of the journey is just a joy, so there’s no rush. It’s not a huge game, but it’s a perfect little escape.
Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Is A 2025 JRPG Masterpiece And Just $38.99
Ends On May 10 @ 11:59 PM PDT
- Store Link: Steam
- Steam rating: 96%
- Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter is coming out in September 2026
The Trails series is unique – many RPG fans know it, but it still doesn’t get the recognition it deserves. Developed by Nihon Falcom, The Legend of Heroes has consistently delivered high-quality games for over 20 years. However, with so many games released, new players might be intimidated, feeling like they’re starting in the middle of a long story. Thankfully, Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter is a remake of the very first game from 2004, making it an ideal starting point for anyone curious about the series.
At almost $40, Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter is pricier than the other games we’ve discussed, but it’s a relatively recent release. More importantly, it continues the series’ high quality, offering a story that’s both familiar and heartwarming, while also being truly epic. The battle system and character customization are engaging throughout the lengthy game, but the real highlight is the incredibly detailed and immersive world.
