Naruto and YuYu Hakusho Appear in Stylish New Streetwear Line

Studio Pierrot, the famous anime studio, has released a new line of clothing called Studio Pierrot Style, featuring retro T-shirts based on their popular series, Naruto: Shippuden and YuYu Hakusho. Even though Naruto: Shippuden finished airing almost ten years ago, it remains incredibly popular with fans in Japan and around the world, having run for an impressive 500 episodes. Similarly, YuYu Hakusho, which concluded in 1995, still has a large and devoted fanbase more than 30 years later.

Established in 1979, Studio Pierrot is a leading anime studio known for creating many popular series, including classics like Bleach, Tokyo Ghoul, Saiyuki, Urusei Yatsura, and Fushigi Yugi. They are currently producing new seasons of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War and Black Clover, and recently released Magical Sisters LuluttoLilly. While the studio has produced numerous hits, Naruto and YuYu Hakusho remain fan favorites globally, which is why they’ve chosen these two series for their new line of streetwear.

Studio Pierrot Releases Vintage T-shirts Featuring Naruto: Shippuden and YuYu Hakusho Characters

Studio Pierrot is releasing retro-style T-shirts featuring beloved characters from Naruto: Shippuden and YuYu Hakusho. Preorders are open now as part of Studio Pierrot Style, a new clothing line created to celebrate the studio’s anniversary. Naruto fans can choose designs with Naruto or Sasuke, while YuYu Hakusho fans can select from Yusuke, Kuwabara, Kurama, or Hiei. Each shirt costs ¥8,800 (about $56) and will be available in July 2026 through the official Studio Pierrot Store. All designs were created by Studio Pierrot’s own designers.

Good news for Naruto fans! New episodes are planned for release in late 2026. Originally, four special episodes were scheduled for late 2023 to celebrate the series’ anniversary, but they were postponed to ensure they met high standards. Though Naruto Shippuden finished telling its main story, these upcoming episodes will be set before the time jump, giving fans more to enjoy. We can expect more information soon.

In addition to new shirts featuring Naruto and YuYu Hakusho, Studio Pierrot is also releasing apparel inspired by Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel. This magical girl series originally aired in Japan from 1983 to 1984 and, though not as popular in the West, it had a significant impact on later shows, especially when it came to promotion. Creamy Mami was notably used to launch the career of singer Takako Ota, a strategy that influenced series like Full Moon o Sagashite.
